Words cannot describe how disappointed I am. I'm in the middle of a move and after 3 hours of waiting we still couldn't get a straight answer on estimated arrival time for movers. I spent the next few hours searching for a back up plan as I had to leave the premises by a certain time frame. I let Tanya know I understand her company had ONE person out but I didn't have much of a choice on my end bc I had to be out of the house by a certain time. It's taking me sometime to write this review because I have been debating on doing so. The business advertises itself to be veteran owned. Being a veteran myself I did not want speak badly about the company but I need to make others aware.
First, let me say that I am grateful the movers showed up. Judging from the other reviews they may not have. The young men were nice and I like them.

I scheduled my move a month ago for this past Friday from 9-10am. Both of my parents took off of work to help me with the move as well. I called Tonya that morning who said they should be on time & should call me when the movers were on the way. Black hawk movers we’re supposed to be at my home between 1-4 on saturday 11/6. they said they would call one hour before arriving, and they called at 5:00pm letting us know they weren’t going to make it… one hour passed their scheduled window… then called at 6:00 stating they were already at my house (with no phone call, after they had already canceled our move). we were rescheduled for 9-10 today, 11/7, under the impression we’d be first priority! they never showed or called to tell us they would not be making it during their specified window. i called them multiple times asking for

The movers arrived on time. They took extra care with all the glass, mirrors and breakables. We presented them with some challenges including a steep, narrow driveway and they took it all in stride. They were experienced and very professional. Would definitely use them again!

So I was quoted as having a start time of 10am, but movers didn't get there until until nearly 3pm. Didn't call, just sort of showed up. Not horrible, but I do have other things to do besides waiting for the movers that I already put a deposit down for. Anyway, the movers themselves were pretty nice guys. They were fast and professional. I hired this company to move furniture out of a large home so I could have floors redone for a client. I spoke to Tanya and explained the urgency behind the move, I had a very tight timeline and if The move was not completed in time then it would interfere with the small window available for my floor renovation. She said it would not be a problem, furthermore she told me she does not contract the work out. She claimed all the movers were family employees.

During the move they literally called us every hour to pay for that hour of work in the middle of the move. I've never experienced anything like it. And if you were busy actually moving and directing the movers (who were good btw), the management would blow your phone up with texts until you stopped to Venmo them the next $150 (the hourly rate). It's like they did not trust you to pay even though the movers had all of your possessions in the truck and could have driven away with your possessions, I would never use them again. They were just ridiculous.

They require a $100 deposit and They pushed our moving date off for 2 days .... the lady MARY then proceeded to tell me this is just moving business that's how it is. I've never been confronted by such unprofessionalism. Everyone knows the moving business can be unreliable but it's one thing to use that as a crutch for your own horrible service against already paid customers. I told her I wanted my money back she said great I'll send the email and then hung up on me. Fire her. Find reliable movers. Period.

The guys were courteous but months after I am still finding things they scratched up. There were scratches on the piano, beds, dresser and refrigerator. They bent one the bed frames and lost a screw to another. By the end of the day you just wanted to be done so we paid the movers and then had to get some money back after arguing with the owner. They also charged more than predicted. They had 2 guys come for a full house of furniture which was not enough.

One of my friend recommended you guys after having a good experience. We booked our moving time for 1pm-3pm. My husband reached out before 1pm to see if they would be on time. He texted and called twice before getting someone on the phone who said it would be between 3-4 before someone could be out there they were running behind (it's an inconvenience but stuff happens, fine). Another representative called my husband back shortly after and said someone would be out there by 3pm. 3:05 pm comes around and we get a call from one of the movers (I believe) that they would be there in 30 minutes

I had to change my moving company last minute because of unforeseen circumstances. When I called and spoke to Tanya she said that they were available from 1-3 Sunday June 6th. Paid my $100 deposit and felt like a weight was taken off my shoulders. Boy was I wrong. Sunday rolls around...I get up at 5 am to finish up packing so everything can be ready for the movers at 1:00 pm. I had the freight elevator reserved for them. If I could give 0 stars I would! So unprofessional! Showed up late. Didn't even stay an hour because most of our things were already in the truck because they took so long. Tonya is unprofessional and definitely should get a new job because she clearly doesn't like what she does. Do not trust these people! And I'm pretty sure they took my toolbox which belongs to my father who has passed.

This is the most unprofessional and hood-acting place to get moved. Don't do it!!! They want your deposit but do not show up on time, my move was scheduled for 9 am and the movers did not arrive until 2 pm. They were rude and never apologized for being late. On top of that they blocked my telephone number when I tried to call both numbers to get an update status. I will not recommend this service or urge you to go elsewhere. I was not compensated for the inconvenience and was charged for 7.5 hours of moving time the move was not completed until 9:30 pm at night and the movers apparently got

Stay way from these crooks. Tanya is the biggest liar you will ever deal with. She quotes you one thing and makes promises and then makes up bogus charges. She made up hours and charges that didn't even exist on the paper that THEIR OWN MOVER filled out. There were supposed to be 2 movers and 1 mover bailed, I had to help the one mover with everything and then still got charged for it !! How is this acceptable ?? When I reached out and asked to speak with a supervisor or owner - she ghosted me and never answered again !!

BEWARE!!! This has got to the THE WORST MOVING COMPANY I've ever hired. Here's why:
11/24: called and booked movers for 11/25 between 9am-10am arrival. Was told by the sales rep in Dallas Tanya that I'd receive an email that needed to be signed and returned via email and to call her back so she could take my $100 deposit. I did so however when I tried to call her back to pay the deposit there was no answer from 2pm until 7pm when I stopped calling the company.
11/25: woke up at 8am began calling the same sales rep who I spoke w Tanya. No answer still. So now I'm not sure

Literally has to be one of the most unprofessional companies. We went with them for being veteran owned and wanting to support another veteran. They charged my card a rate I never agreed to before even coming to my house. Not only did they no show on the day we had scheduled but I never got one call from them to keep us updated. We had to keep calling to see what was going on.. I'm now 2.5 weeks after my move and still getting the run around on my refund from being over charged. Thankfully I have a receipt and have filed a dispute with my credit card.. But I shouldn't have to take these

I booked Black Hawk moving to facilitate my move to a new apartment community. I was quoted $90/hour for 2 movers + $60 in transportation cost for the move in per the contract attached. The arrival time for the moving crew was scheduled to occur between 1-3pm.
After a significant delay and multiple phone calls that I initiated, the movers finally arrived at 8pm. There were 3 of them. They moved my items from approximately 8pm-1am. I had already paid a $100 deposit.

The owners and management team are great, however the crew that moved us was less than professional. They trash talked me in Spanish not knowing I understood them, one phone call to the owner and that was nipped in the bud. The owner himself and the management team went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of, everybody but the moving crew wanted us to have a pleasant experience. They dropped the ball but made everything right in the end.
