These guys moved us out today, and they were awesome. Timely and right on estimate, and dealt with some obnoxious construction workers in the process. No damaged goods and cheerful to boot, they were great - recommend them to anyone looking for good movers.

These guys are the best. I had to move from two different locations into one (along with a pickup of a kitchen table along the way) and they were on time, worked the entire day. They were friendly, hard working, careful and efficient.

In agreement with all the horrible reviews. Working with Monarch was a miserable experience. We were working with Safeway and little did we know that they contracted out work to other movers and we ended up stuck with Monarch. Once they packed our items on the truck they informed us it used more space than quoted so we owed multiple more thousands of dollars even though we had carefully audited all the items we needed moved with Safeway. I literally can't imagine a move going more poorly. They showed up days late with no communication. They took nearly two months to deliver our things with no communication. They jacked up the quoted price at every step. They broke most of our furniture. Furniture. Not just our fragiles. Not just glass. They destroyed heavy, hardwood, furniture. Naturally, they also broke nearly every glass item we own. One kitchen box marked fragile was treated so poorly that they totaled our pressure cooker. Let that one sink in. Items under the care of Monarch were stored in a manner that resulted in water damage, mold. Movers did not follow contract protocol to give updated estimate prior to packing and loading. Movers did not disassemble furniture resulting in more cubic square footage (how they price). Movers did not bring enough paper to protect breakable items. Movers did not ensure all items were wrapped in blankets. Movers did not wrap or pack furniture cushions. Movers 'lost' box with jewelry box. If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired Monarch for a move from Dallas to Florida. Best I can tell, our items were stored in standing water for a month before being delivered. Items delivered filled with mold and mildew. Destroyed nearly every piece of furniture and all of the rugs. Also stole my son's PS5 and lost a family heirloom.

Terrible service--the worst moving experience I have ever experienced. We hired Monarch Van Lines (which was brokered through Safeway Moving) for moving and they damaged our items. The subcontractors they hired for the "shuttle" service to deliver the items to the final destination in Boston were rude, threatening, and frankly created a very tense and unsafe environment. The worst customer service we have every encountered.

1) We paid extra for them to package and crate delicate vases. Their version of crating/packing these delicate items was to wrap them with a single layer of bubble

Over $20,0000 in damage, not to mention not enough men to work and I had to pack they overcharged me on Boxes, they used my personal packing supplies, they left lot of my items, they refused to bring the stuff in the house because they were running late and wanted to get back in the road, a lot is missing.oh and gave me an estimate of $15,000 refused to deliver it unless I paid them an additional $4000.

I was threatened and extorted by my Monarch Van Lines mover. On the days leading up to my stuff arriving, I was in contact with a driver named Tony. We decided that at 9:00 am he would bring my belongings to my apartment. I scheduled this time with my apartment complex in advance, so that he would have access to the freight elevator, that would take him directly to my high-rise unit without any stops. Picked up my stuff on September 20th. Today is 10/6 and I am still waiting for it. Cannot get a hold of drivers, company, or anyone else. I have a family with two small children's and we've had to sleep on the floor of our new place because paying for over 2-weeks in hotel costs and food gets expensive.

I would have never imagined this could be such a horrible experience for double the price we were quoted. Showed up 4 hrs late boxed our boxes in their boxes for no reason at a cost of 25.00 per box (just for the cardboard box) they were incredibly unprofessional and insisted we leave our door open for 4 hours straight. I honestly thought we would have to go to court. Very insulting.

I was only gonna give this guys 4 stars bcuz they didn't break anything & delivered within the time frame. I was mad with them but after working it out, I'll give them the 5 stars. We used monarch for my move from Houston Texas to Austin Texas they did a great job I move from third-floor to a three bedroom home they did my storage unit my apartment and do all that driving with very professional manners with no complaints I love it I had movers before several times and this was the most blessed experience that I've ever had definitely my wife love them my kids even my dogs I like this guy's I'm recommending them for anybody wants a company that care about there staff the way they wrap furniture, the way they handle furniture is perfectly done profession is 95
