We have used moving companies before and this was truly the worst by far. We hired them to pack and move and the failed on both. The mislabeled boxes and literally threw things in boxes causing many items to break. They also took furniture apart and were supposed to reassemble the furniture and not only didn't do it but then scattered the hardware throughout random boxes. While moving items in they put items in the wrong rooms on various floors of our new house. I am disabled and can't move things between floors. Additionally, they put large ruts in our yard when moving heavy items through

0 actually. They used day labor with no packing experience. Had one van and needed 2 or 3. Stacked and packed poorly. Scratches. Broken pieces, especially wood, good wood. Washer and dryer scratched. Antique vanity taken apart, mishandled, thus RUINED! I can show z myriad of pics of their disastrous work!

Exodus moving service was excellent. Bobbie gave me the best quote and suggested a 2 member crew for my move. Eddie and Jose showed up on time and called with an exact ETA before they arrived. They were very professional and very well behaved. They helped out with disposing of stuff which I'm aware a lot of folks do not help with. In my new place they put everything where I'd asked them to. This was my first time with Exodus and I'm definitely coming back next time I need to move. Thank you guys, you made my move seamless!

The movers are very professional, we have oversize furniture they wrapped them and padded, They put down plastic on my floors on both homes I moved for a 5500 sq foot house to a 6300 sq foot house. they protected all the walls. My cousin recently used this company’s services and when they unpacked after moving, they discovered that over 75% of my cousins clothing was STOLEN. It made it on the truck, where else could it have gone in transition? Highly suspicious. When my cousin called the company to file a complaint, they told her, “to punch sand”. Absolutely a horrible company if they can’t even take accountability. Apparently, on Yelp they have trash reviews. Do your own research but I would NEVER use this company myself! Stay aware!

I would have left zero stars if I could. This company starts off sounding good and caring, but when a bunch of my stuff was missing after delivery to another state they took no responsibility. Would not even allow it on insurance claim stating there was no proof it went missing. Items were broken due to not being packed but just thrown on the truck and again no responsibility taken. I would have taken legal action against them but I moved to another state and it was not worth the hassle as I'm sure that's what this company hopes for. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Had the same terrible experience as everyone else on here. They go by several different names. When I hired them they went by the name "The Moving Place"
They will make you sign blank screens without explaining what it was for or what I was signing, and said they can't do anything without me signing first but that it was just a "technicality" They were only there for one hour. I was charged $256 which is $56 more then what two employees told me. They added charges in the end for "supplies" even though it was my truck and they were bringing things in my house

BEWARE-Theft of property during move including electronics, money and other items in 2018, by movers advertising under the name of The Move Place, which is also known as Exodus Moving and Storage, Dallas, Tx, registered name to Bobbie Culberson and Chatona Tibbs. PROPERTY DAMAGED AND STOLEN. OWNER WON'T RETURN PROPERTY OR CALLS. Moved in July 2018, and this has been a long ongoing saga. Five items VERY damaged. One was taken by Bobbie to be fixed. Still waiting for resolution on the rest. He does not return my calls, has not returned the property. DO NOT USE IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS!

They did a terrible job packing, there were priceless plates in boxes of books, oil all over the tissue paper they used to wrap things - but no oil in the box, so not sure how that happened, Bobby could have cared less. I complained at the time of the move, he didn't care. It was a small move, they dragged it out over several days, charged nearly double the quote. When loading into the truck, they did a bad job and items fell out (large unwrapped wall mirror!). When they put things in storage they did a bad job, I opened up the storage

I have used Bobbie and his team several times to help me move and they are really really great people. After different moves, furniture often gets scraped and scratched but with Bobbie and Exodus, the team is always careful and consistent with moving items. They blew me away with how quickly they were able to take things apart and safely wrap them up. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for really nice and genuine movers.

After scheduling a move for 3 o'clock they don't bother calling in late until an hour later and "apologize for inconvenience". Another hour passes and no call or even as much as a text! By 6pm I decided that I don't even want them touching my stuff. Again - I didn't even get a call or a text to explain the delay.

The movers disassemble and reassemble my big furniture with their own tools and have never lost any pieces or damaged anything. They have always been quick, careful, smart about their job and nice and not to mention the cheapest move in the DFW. Period. For this move I tried to use another company with a groupon deal because I thought I was saving money. I was wrong. That company tried to give me hidden charges

The only reason I'm only assigning 5 stars is because that's the max YELP will allow! Exodus moved us two weeks ago and I can't express how happy we were with the overall move. This is our 2nd move with EXODUS and we will definitely use them again. The movers were PROMPT & PROFESSIONAL. Bobbie (the owner) visited to confirm everything was A-ok and provided white-glove service. Their prices are competitive and they have great flexibility for complex moves.

This company is owned by the same guy, Bobby, that owns i-Apartment Locating Service; so if you used i-Apartment Locating and their "free move" service, Exodus Moving will be your movers. I had made an appointment for them to move me and when it was 30 minutes past the appointment time, I called the office. The office manager told me they would be there shortly...this was repeated over the next two hours until they they finally did arrive.
They were absolutely terrible, had a very bad attitude and refused to wrap my furniture with shrink wrap or blankets and then turned a two hour

I was referred to Exodus by a friend with good intentions, but little did I know that it would result in a headache. Beforehand moving day, I double-checked on an estimate for a 1-bedroom apartment move. I was told that it would be a discounted promotional rate of $80/hour.
