Hands down the worst movers I've ever hired. I hired this company after the company I booked backed out at the last minute. The two men who showed up had bad attitudes from the beginning, but I don't even really care about that. They refused to move multiple items because they would have had to shift something out from in front of it. They broke three of my bookshelves, one of which was a very sturdy piece, that they refused to take apart into two pieces, which would have made it much easier to move. Excellent experience from start to finish! Huge move, bigger than they expected and made additional trucks and employees available. Professional, attention to detail, careful and knowledgeable with large and heavy and expensive pieces, fast and efficient. Two day job executed perfectly from Austin to New Braunfels. They unloaded a storage unit for us with the move also. Excellent pricing. We have moved a lot and they were top notch! Highly recommend!

I finally unpacked my $250+ Kitchenaid stand mixer and it was badly damaged. I don't see how you can even dent metal this thick unless you drop it. The back is falling off, it doesn't sound normal, and smells like it's burning now. I emailed them to let them know I wanted to be reimbursed for the cost to fix it, and got a couple rude emails back with horrible grammar saying that I or anyone else could have damaged it, or it could have been broken before I packed it. Really? They completely denied damaging it and won't pay a cent to fix it. So they quite literally will just drop

Scheduled time of arrival between 3 and 4pm. At first, the company said they were running about 30-40 minutes late. No big deal. The movers didn't show up until 7:15 pm... very frustrating! The movers didn't leave until 11:30 pm after complaining their way through the whole process packing up our uhaul.

These guys do terrible business. I called two weeks prior to confirm a certain time on a certain day and gave them every bit of information except one apartment number and they did not reserve my spot. Instead of calling me back the next day to ask for the number (like they said they would) they called a week before I was supposed to move in asking for the info I HAD ALREADY given them and saying that our spot was no longer reserved. Referred to me by my realtor and it was the best moving experience I've ever had. Came in with a four-man crew, were so fast, and still careful with all of my things. And when they got to my new house they put everything back together in its place. And the price ended up being less than what I thought. A great experience from start to finish.

Horrible service... They showed up late first of all .. When I called the gentleman that answered was rude and told me i had to wait that he could arrive any earlier.. Last time I had movers who quoted 2 hrs and took 3.5 hrs and I ended up paying almost double. This time I tried Texan moving and it's a totally different experience. When I asked for quote, they said it would take 2 hrs. I gave list of items, distance to move, floor and asked for fixed amount quote. They still said it would be done in 2 hrs and I don't have to pay more even if they take more than 2 hrs.
To my surprise they did the job in 1hr 45 mins and that too very convincingly. I forgot the name of the guys but they were too good in their job. They packed, moved & arranged things

Not only were they flexible with all our personal moving hiccups and fluctuations with a moving date, Judith was always kind & patient when we called, and the guys were very polite, curteous, respectful, and FAST!!!
They don't waste time lally gagging, they know a BUNCH of tips and tricks to move even the most akward pieces of furniture safely and efficiently.
They took care of our things as though it was personally valuable to them, and we felt safe and comfortable with them instantly.

These guys did an amazing job moving my wife and I from Round Rock to Georgetown. They were on time, efficient with my time and even waited 3 hours for us to get our new house keys. We've moved four times in the past three years and Texan Moving did the best job and at the best price! They worked quickly and carefully, and they wrapped all our furniture and valuables before loading it in their truck. Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was loaded into their truck in about an hour, driven to our new home (about 25 min away) and unloaded at our new location in just over an hour. What a great experience!! We had a 3-man crew led by Luis. They were on time, and we're actually almost running when they didn't have our stuff in their hands. They were VERY polite and courteous...and super helpful. They even assembled our beds, tv cabinets and dining table. We didn't have to ask them. They moved a 30x10 and a 15x5 into a two-story house in just 5 hours!! This includes a 20 minute commute. They brought a monster Ram 3500 with a 40ft trailer. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move. 5 Stars!!!

The good: Mover were prompt. All of our belongings made it to the new place. Nothing suffered any damages. The nitty gritty: Our reservation got a bit messed up, I booked for 8 am. When they called to confirm the day before the move, they had me down for 11 am. I had already booked a 10 am appointment to with Time Warner to get my cable/internet/phone set up at the new place, so I had to push the movers back to 12 noon in case my install wasn't done by 11. Lucky that we were just moving across the street... because I had to pack up my small tv & all my equipment to carry over to the new

I just used Texan Moving today to move from one apartment to another apartment in Round Rock, TX and I'm very pleased with the experience. The only reason I gave Texan moving 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. We set up or appointment with them about a week and a half before our move date. The movers were scheduled to com bewteen 12pm and 1pm. Then the receptionist emailed back saying they would be at our apartment between 8am and 9am. We reconfirmed the times and she made a typo and our time was in fact between 12pm and 1pm. Understandable. Everyone makes mistakes, no big deal.
