I highly recommend this company. From the initial estimate (which included a thorough walk through to inventory our items), to the final move, these guys were great. We had a 2 day pack and 3 day move, so it was a big job and they accurately estimated what it would take. It was evident that the crew of 4 guys for packing plus 1 extra for move days we had worked well together. They were friendly and courteous and extremely hard workers. No one was standing around watching. If I had any suggestions for improvement it would just be to more specific with what is in boxes. Some guys were better at labeling

Mary Kopp, the owner of Longhorn Moving, is a joy to work with. I have used Longhorn Moving for two different moves, and they were professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. The second move was complicated by the pandemic and then by rain, and Mary bent over backwards to be flexible and accommodating. All of the movers were pleasant and careful and easy to work with. Mary kept in constant contact with us, and called us afterwards also to make sure everything was to our liking.
I would highly recommend this company.

UNRELIABLE! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I was in Kansas City for three weeks for business. I scheduled my move a week ahead of time with ABC Longhorn. I called the day before to confirm since I hadn't heard from them to confirm the move. The office is closed on Saturday so no answer. Sunday ( move day) comes and nobody shows up. Still can't reach them by phone. My apartment is already leased to someone else so I don't have any options but to rent a truck and find someone to help me move with zero notice. Way to screw me over ABC. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

This company find out we sold one of our office space and began calling us 3 times a day to pretend they are some government agency to collect company data. They asked all kind of questions to find out when we will be moving, how many people.. etc etc and some very intrusive questions. When we tell them not to call back.. they call back 3 times per day and pretend to be another company (yet, caller ID are the same or will show anonymous). We repeatedly asking them to remove us from calling and email list, but they don't seem to care. Honestly, do you think anyone would do business with company

Absolutely the best moving experience ever!! Remember when you used to rent a truck and you and your friends would work hard all day but you were laughing and having a good time? Well, that's what these folks are like. The day of the move our moving van was hit by a Metrobus on the way to our house, but ABC called us immediately and let us know they had an alternate truck and crew on the way to us. Then they sent another truck and another guy about an hour after that. Nice handling of the situation - they are awesome.

ABC longhorn moving in Austin. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They charge for three guys, one is not expected to move a box. You pay full price but he's ok to Facebook the whole time. If they break your stuff they will tell you that it was already broke and if it wasn't there is nothing they will do. I was told there is nothing I can do about it.. The movers were rude to us and spent alot of time talking in back room. Also they jam everything into a huge moving box and throw boxes they feel are light. Alot of broken glass, dishes, a TV, our couch etc. Worked with three movers before and this i Really

ABC longhorn moving in Austin. Uodate: to clarify. I did the move for my mom. The boxes were all packed. The items were broje because the movers roughly handled the boxes and staxked them unevenly in their (movers box) i called the company that day. My mother was not aware of the additional broken items besides the couch until she came home three weeks later and unpacked. We called the movers right away and told them. This is when I was told they would not do anything and there was nothing I could do about it. It wasn't just the broken tv and items, it was also the way the OWNER talked

Awesomely supportive and friendly movers! I was recently in charge of moving my office from downtown Austin to the north Lamar area. Before settling on Longhorn, I contacted at least 8 moving companies. ABC Longhorn was one of the few that even bothered to get back to me, and they did so in a very timely (and friendly!) manner. They answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly and were the only company to send out a representative to look at our furniture and explain the move process in person. Longhorn was also able to meet our property owner's very strict requirements for insurance

I engaged this company in a two-tiered move, including a move outside the city. We used the same guys both times. They were prompt, efficient, and friendly, and handled everything carefully. Mary, the owner, personally handled the move for me, and she was courteous and conscientious, asked questions, and filled me in completely on what would happen and what my rights and responsibilities were. The out of town portion was a little expensive, but it was explained to me that the price of diesel was one factor, and I didn't make an issue of it. They were recommended to me, and I'd recommend

This company has been in business 28 years, almost as long as I had lived in my house. My move from Austin to Bastrop was a breeze with the team of movers, Roy and Tiger. These guys were wonderful. I have to give KUDOS to all the staff and Mary, the owner. She worked with me as our closing was pushed back and she reassured me all was well. Thanks again to Roy and Tiger.

We had used this company for our office move last year, so I knew I'd want to check with them about my own move to a new apartment. The office folks I talked to on the phone were super-friendly and the company provided a reasonable estimate.
The movers showed up on time (actually a few minutes early) and were extremely professional and cordial. Don't use these guys unless you want a surprise. My bill for the move was $400.00 more than what I was quoted. The movers started out fine and then got slower and slower.
When it was time for us to pay they told me that it was $400.00 more than they had quoted and that this happens all the time!!!! WHAT??
I called the office the next day to complain and I was yelled at and told that we had lied about the amount of stuff we had and that we must have lied about the new place having stairs. The Operating Manager hung up on me!!! I have never been talked too like this before!!!

In the 10 years I've been in Austin, I've had to move a total of 4 times. Not too bad if I do say so myself...for all four of those times, I've used Longhorn Movers. They've been reasonably priced, showed up on time, were nice as can be, never gave me any crap when I had more than I thought (of course a big tip never hurts!), and were careful with my belongings.
The time is coming to move again, and I'm calling Longhorn. And this time, I'm springing for packing!
