Barrus Heating and Air is a local and family owned business that believes in old fashioned values of excellence and dependability. Founder Bill Barrus has been involved in the heating and air profession since he was 17 and continued on to receive a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Michigan State University in 1995.
Ductless heating and air conditiong systems are very energy efficient and whisper quiet. Although it is very popular to use these in sunrooms and FROGs, we also install whole house solutions. At Barrus Heating and Air, we believe in and are committed to this wonderful technology. We have been installing ductless systems for many years and invest heavily in tools and training.

We could not be happier with Barrus Heating and Air! From the professionalism that we encountered from our first phone call with the lady that answers the phones to the expertise that we saw when James first came out to check our system, Barrus is definitely a first class establishment. They were very thorough in the process of discovering our AC system issues and Bill Barrus had different options for us to choose from in terms of how to rectify our problems. He spent plenty of time explaining each option to us and helping us to understand what our choice would mean for our final outcome.

Connor was super professional and open with his diagnosis that we had a blown blower motor in our HVAC system. He made sure to prioritize us and got us up and running in the same day as it was pretty hot in our home. We made sure to sign up for a maintenance plan so that our unit runs smoothly and extends the life of the new motor.

Mr. Barrus was hands on through the entire process. Warm personality and very professional, he presented well priced options and even lended us a few window units to ensure my pregnant fiancé was comfortable in the days leading up to the install. We woke up on a Monday morning with no heat. I called Barrus and they had somebody out to my house within an hour. James was very polite and thorough. He found the problem and was able to fix it quickly and ensured our heat was working again before he left. The cost was much lower than we were expecting. If we have any problems with our heating and air in the future, Barrus Heating & Air will be our first call.
