DaVinci Floors

I highly recommend Da Vinci Floors/Rafal Maleszyk for wood flooring restoration, new installation, or related services. We bought a home this past fall - it had great flooring material but it was damaged and far more textured than we wanted. Rafal and his very talented partner Junior did a spectacular job of restoring the floor. I can't imagine it ever looked better and its a treat to walk on it barefoot.

Rafal worked around our other contractors, stayed on the schedule he had promised, and even worked in a few other additional wood-finishing jobs we discovered as the project went along

We had our floors resurfaced in a condo we just bought. I was very nervous about how it would turn out because there was some major sun damage. It turned out AMAZING!!!!! Wow. I am so impressed. Amazing service and amazing work.

Poor quality putty repairs. They did NOT use a dustless refinishing machine and left my air conditioning on while sanding. All of my air conditioning units filled with wood dust. Cost over $2000 to professionally clean and repair air conditioning. See photo of the ac filters. Over a year later still find wood dust in crevices while the poorly done putty repairs are falling out. Notice that all the reviews are old. Maybe he used to be good but no longer true.

Rafal and his team did a fantastic job on refinishing our deck, and making some repairs. As another reviewer has said, he is a craftsman, attention to detail was noted at every turn. This matters, and we appreciated that about him. He also went the extra mile to give us what we wanted. We wanted marbau wood to be consistent with the flooring in the interior of the house, and despite being a challenge, he found it for us. The deck looks gorgeous. We are so pleased with their work that we will be hiring them again to work on a smaller deck and outdoor shower.

Rafal is courteous, dependable & prompt. He re-accommodated us several times due to construction delays & does very good work. He showed up on time for the assessment and
provided 2 re-finish options within 24 hours. We chose the less expensive option, $2K to re-coat instead of $7K to re-finish old wood floors in
2 older apartment units, one with mahogany and one with oak floors.
He & an assistant did a fantastic job & left the jobsite very clean.

Many thanks to Robert and Bernard who gave us a fair quote, stayed in budget, and finished within the estimated time frame, and worked very hard, seeing as how we have 40 steps, and a two story house. Robert even took the time to check out our proposed flooring material, and recommended another product, which was of better quality. They even moved the furniture for us (some contractors will not). Did a great job!!

Rafal and his guys are awesome. I had really deep scratches on my parquet flooring that they were able to get out. DA Vinci Floors is fast, efficient, and does a great job. Super happy customer!!!!!

Rafal is a true craftsman. He did a very professional job on refinishing some engineered hardwood floors. In my opinion I think he made the floors look better than the original. He arrived on time and the job was completed sooner than expected. It is nice to be able to hire someone and just have them do such good work without any supervision.

Rafal re-arranged his schedule to accommodate my timeline which was MUCH appreciated. I highly recommend him!

We were new to the Island and were very lucky to find Rafal. First off, he did an excellent and thorough job on the quote. We could tell from the first time we met him, which was at a showing of the home, that he meant business. We didn't get any other quotes, but I felt like he was giving us a fair price and he gave us several options to keep the cost down.

We are so happy with our hardwood floor that was just recently sanded and stained by Rafal and his crew. He was so easy to work with - we got a quote the same day that we called initially and then they were able to start the job a couple of days later. Our floors looked so much better after the refinishing, really great and we were so pleased that we had them come back to do our bedrooms that were under construction. Owner Rafal Maleszyk was a pleasure to hire and to work with during our recent installation of new hardwood flooring (carbonized bamboo). We just had Da Vinci Floors do one room for us and we are very pleased. Their price was fair and Rafal and Mario did a great quality job. They took out the carpet and refinished the wood flooring underneath. The whole project took about 11 days due to waiting for each of the 3 coats to completely dry and cure before helping us by moving the bigger pieces of furniture back. They even helped us put felt on the bottoms of the furniture which we appreciated a lot. We will definitely use Da Vinci Floors again when we're ready to do the next room.

I have an older 3/2 home in Kailua that had a very old, ugly parquet flooring. Rafael proposed a bid that was feasible for my family's budget.
His work and integrity is second to none! We are very pleased with the work that was performed and I could not praise his attention to detail that he demonstrated during the job. It is without hesitation that I would recommend Rafael and his crew to anyone looking to beautify their investment.

Rafael and his crew are awesome the job came out beautiful we couldn't be happier especially for 50+ year old floors. Originally we were just going to do the living room but he suggested we take it a step further and do the hallway too since you could see it.
