If you do not have a big house that cost $3000+ to move do NOT contact them. If you do, do NOT contact them either. I was asking for a quote on a 2b apt move from MD to NJ (normally cost about 1500). They might thought my move was a too "small" business and too rush (in 3 days) so did not reply me. So I asked again after about an hour. They told me that they ONLY do service over $3000 following by a "lost your voice?" IMMEDIATELY. Amazing service!! The story happened about 19:00 on 12/06/2021. If I were the boss, I would check who ruin my business.

Awful service. We made a military move and they put my stuff in storage and moved it on 4 different trucks while in storage. When they delivered my things, my household supplies were missing and damaged. I filed the claim with photos of damaged household goods and they refused to acknowledge liability or honor my claim. I even talked to a manager who kept repeating their policy and did not listen to me. AWFUL!!

Today they were supposed to take my stuff from Vegas to Atlanta. One guy Alex came around 1:15 pm and told that these Home Depot boxes are too big and too heavy. They ll break on the way.my husband told him if he think so he can wrap cling rap and they ll be more durable but the guy said they need to repack the whole stuff and it will cost $800 otherwise he won’t do it. He took pictures of unpacked stuff which we r donating/ selling on offer up and informed HR that our packing is not done and he is canceling it. We have carpet cleaning tomorrow morning and I do not know how movers and carpet

Besides showing up late and then being told one thing for payment and then another in person, this made the move very stressful. Not everything was moved from the old place which means multiple trips back and forth throughout the month. As well as my exercise machine being cracked. And some books sustaining damage because the cardboard box was left on snowy ground. Like had to run around and pull cash since suddenly checks werent acceptable and the move wasnt even finished before payment was pushed. Just the fact so much was left behind. And communication during the process day of was lacking to

Awful service.. they promise everything when you talk first and do not respond when the packers arrive with insufficient resources.
They try to charge you a lot of last minute costs.
They make advantage of your situation and make you pay more. I was told that there were 3 floors while I just had 1,
And my stuff will be bubble wrapped and taken care of. When the packers arrived, they were not ready to do any of that.

On the positive side, the price was reasonable. The people I talked to were nice.
HOWEVER...
I was given a 3-day window when my furniture would be picked up over July 4th. I spent most of July 3rd on the phone trying to get a pick up time. I was finally told (around 3 P.M.) that they would not be coming that day, but they might come on the 4th. I hung around all day on the 4th, canceled my plans, and waited. On the 5th, still no pickup time. I was told that my truck was full, but that they were looking for another truck. I was told, however, that they would eventually show up. It is now 1:45

This is a long-overdue review. In 2011, I needed to move on short notice, and called Continental based on a recommendation from a friend. It was tight, but they managed to get a truck and two men over to my home on the day I was scheduled to move into my new place.
The movers did a good job of wrapping and handling my furniture and other items, nothing was broken, and the final time and cost came in right where I expected it to be based on the estimate.
I absolutely recommend them, and will call them again next time I move.

Carlos and his crew were great.
3 men crew, big truck. Carlos came to supervise.
He's a funny guy.
Everyone worked hard, got the job done at a good pace.
Minimal charges for packing equipment- he'll tell you upfront.
Fair price. Would use them again in a second.
Edit: everything above still true. Next time would just ask them to wrap a couple items to keep cleaner during the move. Also maybe some shoe covers on the carpet. Didn't realize myself until afterwards.

Carlos and his movers are absolutely fantastic. I have moved 4 times in Washington DC and this is the only pleasant experience I have had. His men are extremely hard working, honest, and very strong. They do not damage anything and they protect everything with furniture pads. Carlos wife came before we moved to survey our moving boxes and give us a flat rate estimate. Or you can pay by the hour. On the moving day itself, Carlos showed up on time, emailed the night before to ensure he was coming. his moving truck is fairly big though we had more stuff than we thought and it was no problem to take
