Lightning Moving will be my go-to movers when I move again! They were awesome. We had things in storage for two years that we had to get into our garage. The movers were very patient with me looking for our pictures that I wanted to take directly into the house with AC. They packed and unpacked the truck carefully, quickly and efficiently. The thing that impressed me the most was how well they unpacked and stacked the boxes in the garage so we have more than enough room to park and unpack. I hired lightening movers for a 6 mile move. I sent them a list of all items I want moved and when they arrived, I walked them through all the items. I had also texted them to confirm that if they have space left they would pick up the extra boxes (of clothes and miscellaneous items) .
When they arrived they packed all items really well but started loading the small boxes and miscellaneous items first. They randomly started throwing things in there as if this was their first gig. In the end they didn't have space for the items they were hired to move. They told me it would take a second trip

Just got off the phone with the owner of the company who called me for a quote. He was very disrespectful and didn't like that I was asking questions regarding their rating with the BBB (he said they were registered and their rating was high but wouldn't tell me the letter rating), type of workers he was using (I asked if they were full-time employees or just contracted day laborers and he kept saying they were family) and the precautions the company was taking to prevent exposure Covid-19 (he said they wear masks but wouldn't tell me how often they clean and sanitize their trucks). I’ve used this company now 5X. It’s a small
Family business and I can respect that.
What I can’t respect is movers breaking my sculpture and only wanting to compensate me $50.00.
While the value can’t be placed on my item. The solution they had was terrible and how they went about hiding it then telling me they called owner and when I did he knew NOTHING about this incident.
I already had planned to use them on the move from storage to new home BUT NFW!

I give lightning movers five stars they were great even through my mistake of leaving you my information and getting my time mixed up they were courteous on time and very nice and was willing to take boxes upstairs set up the bed and everything so if you ever need to move I would say lightning Movers you get your money's worth

Lightning Moving company helped me move this past weekend and I was absolutely satisfied. Not only did they cover all of my furniture to make sure it was protected but they had amazing customer service. Extremely friendly and helpful and great at communicating before the move. Will definitely recommend and use them for my future moves.

I own a staging and design business and I constantly need moving help. In the past two years I have tried several moving companies and all those relationships were very short lived due to lack of professionalism, disregard for my own inventory and the property of my clients, as well as incapability as most of them hire $10/hour day labor and then turn around and charge you a minimum of $95 for a two man crew.
I have used Lightening Moving for about two months now and I cannot say enough great things about them. They are punctual, professional, and considerate and they know what they are doing

Movers were nice and courteous but "lightening" might to be the biggest exaggeration ever. With a crew of two, only one was actually bothering to come up the stairs and move items. It took them about 15 minutes to figure out how to maneuver my couch out of my living room, professionals these are not. Move took much longer than anticipated and then they ran out of space in the truck which means I was still moving odds and ends for hours afterwards.

Rogelio and David were great. There was a minor miscommunication about the size of the truck we needed, but they upheld their original estimate and worked as fast as they could. We've moved a few times in the past 3 years and I can honestly say Lightning Moving was the best customer service and quality. They took great care of our furniture and were a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend them!!

I moved from Kentucky to Texas and had to put all my things in a storage unit. I spoke with Rogelio from beginning to end. He was the first to contact me with a quote out of 10 quote requests I sent out. Him and as his crew were quick and efficient. They did an awesome job and were the best price I found. I had a bunch of huge fish tanks that they moved with ease.
My family has used them four times and had great success.
They wrapped and padded everything fragile.
The only warning would be to make sure you know how many rooms, what floor you are moving from and to, and how heavy your stuff might be. I only had two guys show up and definitely needed more. However, they did the work of four, and with a little help from me were able to do everything. "Work smart not hard" they said, and did.

Lighting movers came to my house on a Sunday and moved all of my stuff in the pouring rain because I absolutely needed it unloaded. The guys were extremely friendly, even though my condo is up a flight of narrow stairs and the conditions were unfavorable. They went to every measure to get everything inside and took great care of all my stuff. They took their time so that nothing was damaged, but still finished in the allotted 2 hours. Plus, it was cheaper than any other moving service I've used previously. I'd definitely use them again and refer them to anyone moving!

I used them to move from two different apartments to one house last Saturday. I had time window from 3-5pm, but did not get any call for delay of schedule. Therefore, I called them at 4:30 pm and then they gave a call back in 5 minutes and told me their schedule were behind but should be able to arrive my house in 20 minutes. Finished the moving in about two hours, which we have 35 boxes, two mattresses, and some small furniture.

I called 3 moving companies and one didn't pick up, one said they would call me back and never did, and then Lightning! They helped me right away, gave me an estimate, sent me an e-mail confirming my move, called me the day before my move, and politely called me 15 minutes before arriving at my place. Excellent communication!
The two guys that showed up were polite and QUICK! They moved my 1 bedroom apartment in 90 minutes (including a 25 min drive time). I would definitely recommend them 100% and will be calling them again for my next move.

A++++ We Use Lightning Moving this past Saturday from a 2 story townhouse-3 bedroom - 2 car garage to a 1st floor apt-3 bedroom-2 car garage and they did AWESOME!!! We have steps that lead into our townhouse and about 20 more stairs between the first floor to the second, they never stopped moving. I can't say enough about these 3 young men! They wrapped all the dressers, moved all the boxes, a huge safe, and not a single thing was broken or scratched. They were worth every penny and very reasonable! Got a few quotes and theirs was the best and well worth it!! I would definantly recommend them!

On a recommendation from a friend, I hired Lighting Movers for my in-town move. I first had them stop at my work to pick up an old "Mad Men" tanker-style desk, which there was no way I was going to be able to move myself. They were scheduled to be there at 8:00a, and were there at 8:02a, They then drove to my old rental home, and then my new home (a mile away from the old place).
The whole move took almost exactly three hours, and that's taking into account the 45 minutes taken up for going to get the desk. They brought a crew of three, and they were very fast and efficient. One

We used Lightning Moving to move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom about 30 minutes away. The price was $95 an hour with a flat $55 transportation fee. This was the same price I got from 2 other companies.
My wife was nervous about having someone else moving our furniture because she didn't think they would be careful.. Quite the opposite! The 3 guys who moved us wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets and saran wrap. They packed everything into the truck tight so that nothing moved, even when there was a tire in the middle of the road on the freeway that we had to swerve around

I love Lightning Moving! I have used them twice over the past 15 months and both times were super speedy and efficient. With 3 movers, the time really flies.
Rogelio, the manager, was there both times to supervise and to make sure that delicate items were handled as such. Both of my moves took less than 2 hours, but I'm a single girl who travels lightly!

It's ironic that I'm leaving a negative review on Yelp, because this is how I found these guys. I went with them because of their Yelp reviews, their availability, and the price.
