In 1995, Scott Riggs and Dick Martin started a small business doing home repairs, working from their basement office in Gladstone. Lisa Martin joined the team in 1995 and Scott Weaver in 2000, with Scott becoming a full partner in 2005 when Dick Martin retired. Our review is completely unsolicited. After speaking with one of the many references provided by Riggs & Martin, we felt no need to contact more or consider another company. Through the entire process, Riggs & Martin were very considerate of our desires and gave us suggestions without upselling. They are very personable, take the time to listen and respond in a timely manner. We were provided a timeline of every aspect to be performed. We’ve had Riggs and Martin out for two house projects over the past 7 years. The first was to fix/renovate our kitchen after it had been hit by a truck (literally a truck rolled into our kitchen wall!). The second job was to put new floors into our bathrooms. It was a much smaller job, but they gladly came in with ideas of what we should do, and treated it like it was just as important as our kitchen job. It seems as though no job is too big or too small.

Riggs & Martin have done numerous remodel projects for us beginning in 2005. Scott Riggs and Scott Weaver are terrific to work with every step of the way from initial design to successful project completion. Their work is on time, on budget and every project results in a seamless enhancement to the existing structure. Scott and Scott are simply the best folks. (There’s no one named Mike there so ignore that one star review). On time and on budget. They have remodeled our kitchen and both bathrooms. Offered great design ideas and worked with our budget to create functional, beautiful spaces. In fact, our neighbors liked the work so much they hired them to renovate their entire first floor. I recommend Riggs & Martin unconditionally. They have done two major projects for us. Their workmanship is impeccable, as is their project management. They do exactly what they say they will do, and when they will do it. In our experience, they are often ahead of schedule. We’ve had several contractors, and I will never use anyone but R&M again. We have worked with Riggs & Martin on two projects over the past three years -- one was outside work (deck, stone patio, fence) and the most recent project was a kitchen remodel/refresh. Their work on both projects was superb, and they are the best contractors we've ever done business with. Why? Of course the quality of the end product is most important, but that quality depends on all the many small and large details that are addressed along the way. You can be assured that R&M will attend to *everything* and help you work through all those issues and decisions you may have thought were unimportant

We have worked with Riggs and Martin over the past 7 or so years. They are very professional and do quality work. They have almost touched every part of my house(like.. remodeling bathrooms, extending rooms, remodeling laundry rooms and adding wood floors) because I keep coming up with more projects and they do such a good job. They have never had any surprises and finished on time for every project. They are perfectionist to a fault and stand behind their work. Come to think of it I might come up with another project. :)

Riggs and Martin have done numerous home projects for us over the years, they were recommended to me by my brother, who like us had several major home remodeling projects done by R and M.
