I highly recommend James and his crew!! He just moved me from Northern California to Southern California. He is an honest guy and can give you a definite move date unlike the brokers who give you a timeframe. I wasn't able to pack some of my larger items so they did it and they did a great job. When we got to our new home they put everything where we needed it and when we unpacked we didn't have any broken items. I have recommended them to a couple other clients who have been very happy with them as well. Thanks James, great job!

I thought I published this a month ago! Sorry james and Jose! They did an awesome job! One of the few things that went flawless in our move!
They picked up as promised from both our house and storage. They had to take 2 trucks for all our stuff from Sacramento to so cal.
Not a single thing damaged in any way! I broke one shot glass, and that was me doing a bad job of unpacking.

Jose and 3 other crew members made our move a breeze. They got started immediately, loaded all our stuff (boxes, furniture items), drove 40 miles to our destination, and unloaded. It took a little over 3 hours.
They quickly wrapped items, and I haven't found anything that got damaged during the move (though we did move our most fragile/important items ourselves).
Their hourly rate was the best we saw. There weren't any hidden fees: we'd agreed that the drive would count as an additional hour, and our move ended up costing exactly (hours + 1)*(rate). We also got a 4th crew member

These guys are the best! I hadn't moved in forever, so I was a little nervous about it. My move was from a house to a storage unit. James' crew is responsive and affordable. Easy to schedule and communicate with. Answered all my questions before the move. They came in, assessed what needed to be moved and handled it in a very professional way. Very friendly and fun, too! They packed everything carefully and did an awesome job filling the storage unit. It couldn't have been a better experience. I would use them again in a heartbeat. This review is a bit late. I have used good movers 2x. Once to move from Sacramento to San Francisco on Nov 2019 and a year later to move my father in law from Sacramento to our San Francisco apartment. They are professional and careful moving our furniture. They arrived on time and are ready to get started. For the second time we used them they wearing masks during the covid pandemic. I would recommend GOOD movers to anyone. These guys are the best.

I was searching through Yelp for reviews of local companies for my move within the Sacramento area. After requesting multiple quotes, Good Movers was by far the most reasonable in price without any of the hidden costs I was finding with other companies. They also had almost all 5 star ratings and James got back to me quickly and answered all my questions (I always have many) with patience.

These guys were incredible!! The owner worked with us to move us and get us in our new place before our lease expired. We used 4 people to help us move and wow... everything good that I read about them was so true! I can't rave about these guys enough... I'm so impressed with them!!! If we hadn't moved into our "forever" home with these guys I absolutely use them again!! Thank you for being so awesome, careful and caring about our stuff!!! Use these guys you won't regret it!!!

Found this company after a previous company could not complete my move and I'm so glad I did. James went above and beyond to help us get things setup and functional. We had a slight mishap when a tv was not functioning correctly, but James was on it and replaced it RIGHT AWAY!! I definitely recommend them and would use their services again.. did I mention the prices were phenomenal?! Thanks again Good Movers!!

I've never had a better moving experience!!! These guys were clean cut and incredibly professional! They arrived earlier than our appointment time, they packed everything very securely, and they were extremely careful not to damage anything when loading and unloading! There were even a few times we had to find something in one of the many boxes, and they helped locate the one it was in. Rates were also unbeatable, and they were just a joy to work with. Will definitely be hiring again!!!

This company is a HUGE scam! They book you for whatever price you ask and book you with a secondary moving company that shows up after you pay a deposit with Good Movers and quotes an entirely different price. I’m 1000 over my quoted amount.
