Help for Packing: All the packing in the house will be done by the moving professionals. They will take care of this whole thing. With their experience they have a better idea of how to pack each and everything with care. They will make sure that all the items including the most delicate ones, like some antiques or some other valuable things get moved without any damage.
Storage of Possessions: If one has to move out of his earlier residence in Seattle, while the new home is yet to be ready, a moving company will take the responsibility of storing the belongings in their company storage space. Services
Phones are answered live Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. Phone Calls and Booking requests will be contacted on at various times on Saturdays. All office operations are closed on Sunday's, however we do perform moves on Sunday's. If your call is directed to voicemail during those hours expect a prompt return phone call.

On 11/3/21 I filled out their online form requesting a move date for 2 movers only (no truck) on 11/20/21.
I rcvd. an email on the same day (11/3/21) saying "AFTER SPEAKING WITH US ON THE PHONE and confirming the move date...pay booking fee of $26.04 including paypal fee)". I WILL NOT USE PAYPAL, FOR ANYTHING and nobody called to speak with me.
I have tried to call them numerous times but nobody answers, and their mailbox is full.
I have sent many texts to which nobody responds.

The three guys who did the move were all great - strong, helpful, willing to go the extra mile. Mike, the owner, called afterwards to follow up and hear how it all went. His pricing was fair and very reasonable. I wish that they had wrapped all the furniture a bit more, but if I had watched and asked, I know that they would have been very responsive. All in all, a great team.

Take this review as your sign to stop searching for moving companies and just hire Mike and his team. I could not recommend Mike and his team more highly! They helped us pack and move every single item in our house - including the insanely heavy Peloton Tread+. The team was respectful, kind, and very thoughtful in how they packed (not just throwing things randomly in boxes!). Seriously, if you need movers, just give Seattle Select Moving a call. You will not be disappointed!

Trevor and the team did a wonderful job with my move. They packed quickly and conscientiously, and completed the job on schedule. Quotes were transparent and fair, and communication was great. We couldn't have asked for a smoother move with Trevor, Sean and John as our team. They moved our entire condo into a two story home in just 3 hours!
We were impressed right off the bat when they showed up donning masks (thank you!!) and backed the moving truck into a pretty narrow spot at our busy Capitol Hill condo building!
The rest of the move was just as impressive--they were efficient and worked hard without any breaks, handled our belongings with care, communicated well with each other, and were creative with getting larger furniture into tight spaces (like our condo elevator).

These guys saved my move - I had to schedule last-minute the day before to move my stuff out of my old apartment while I was out of town, and thankfully I found them and they found a way to accommodate me. They packed up my furniture and leftover stuff and brought it to my new place leaving everything well ordered, and put together my bed when I didn't require that of them. Very personable as well; highly recommend!

Seattle Select Moving was recommended to us by our realtor, and we are very happy we hired them for our move. They were very responsive and able to get us scheduled on short notice. Horrible company run by a couple of drunk schmucks, who con their customers into opting out of insurance, steal belongings, damage items, and are just over all sleeze bags. Mike Hansen also assaulted my sister, after breaking and entering, as well as destroying her car, and harassing her son. They regularly break the law, doing things without proper licensing, or filing of employees. Employees often under the influence on the job, even while driving. Disorganized beyond belief.

I spoke to Michael when researching moving companies and he was really transparent with the charges and straightforward, gave me a really competitive quote. I had Trevor, John and Alex as my moving guys and they showed up ready to work! Even though they'd had a rough day before, they got right to it and started moving out my boxes and furniture. They had great attitudes, super friendly. They packed the mattresses, furniture, tv and what not professionally and none of my stuff was broken. Everything got done in a really timely fashion and they were just great to work with. Would totally recommend

John and Pete did an amazing job moving my upright piano. I was stressed out about the move all week prior to the move, but they finished the job with no problems whatsoever.
They showed up on time and quickly and efficiently moved the piano onto their truck and into my new home with no problems. My piano was spotless when they brought it in with no damage at all.
The piano was heavy, cumbersome, and seemed almost too complicated to move, but John and Pete from Seattle Select Moving made the move look effortless with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.

These guys did a great job moving me today from my house into an apartment. I dropped the ball a bit and I didn't reserve room for the truck to unload right in front of the apartment building; which meant they had to unload from the turn lane (and cross the street). I was impressed that they rolled with the punches! In addition, I told them that it was important for me to not get my cloth headboard and mattresses dirty during the move and they definitely took that into consideration.

These guys are awesome. They helped me out with a big move over weekend. We have a very steep driveway, lots of heavy boxes, it was pouring rain- none of these factors broke the crews sprits. They were positive, polite and productive.
It was as huge relief to have a rock solid team making the move go so smoothly.

I work for a logistics company and I used Mike for a special project to move high value telecom freight into a server room. This freight was valued at over 400,000 dollars and we were using his service for the first time as we were looking for new partners. I was very happy with the outcome and so were my clients. They were very professional, communicated with us at every step and handled the freight carefully which is what you expect when you use a moving service. Alex and Will helped me move !! They were excellent, well organized in the move and were super courteous. They also were efficient and quick with the move which made the move super simple and easy.
The only thing I would have liked is more communication from the manager / customer representative. I had no quote or estimate until the day before the move. Even then the estimate was not accurate and I was charged for the delay due to traffic.

I could not be more displeased with Seattle Select Moving. They helped me do a move a few months ago and it did not go well at all.
When the gentleman came out to give me an estimate he assured me they could get the move done in 3 hours. I was told that Washing state law states that if they can't get it done in the time outlined in the agreement, the most they could charge me was an additional 25%. I told him that I did not think they would be able to get it done in such a short time, but he again reassured me that it would not be an

This is the second time I have used their services and as always they have showed up on time with a cheerful vibe to be willing to help us move. They are efficient and fast movers especially when you are on a budget for the moving cost. The team is fun to work with especially with their sense of humor and keep a fun vibe as they work to get our stuff moved. They took great care of our stuff and made sure everything was properly secure.

2) My appt was at 8 AM, they called me at about 815 and said they were leaving their warehouse. A little late, but it didn't bother me.
The start billing when they leave their warehouse to the time they return.
3) With every move, I expect a little damage to furniture; especially since my new place was a tight squeeze. I saw only 2 or 3 dings on all of my furniture

This review is so overdue, I should have written this months ago. I have moved *many* times in my life, have lived on both coasts, 5 states, 2 countries, many neighborhoods. These guys were professional, on time, quick, pleasant guys who actually gave a hoot about my furniture and my house. HIGHLY recommend.
