Out of all the lock smiths we called in Chicago, On The Go was able to come the quickest which was much appreciated! It took the Locksmith about 25 min for him to get here which was the estimate we got. We also got an estimate of price ahead of time and it was the same when the guy came!
This was back in the summer but when he arrived, he was not wearing a mask (hopefully does now), but we were and were staying 6ft apart.
He tried for about 30-45 minutes to get the front door to open with no movement and would go back and forth to get his tools so it was comforting he had them all there ready

Kurt tried twice to replace my entrance door knob/lock on my apartment building. Kurt couldn't do it. So, he told me to get a bigger locksmith, they have more resources (parts). I said ok, give me my two hundred dollar payment back, Kurt raised his voice to me. I called and texted the company three times the owner has not returned my calls.Chicago Locksmith did the job in one hour.

Kurt from On the Go was outstanding flexible and wonderfully helpful. We had an appointment to re-key our new home after moving and I couldn't make after a retailer sold the parts they promised to hold for me. He let me easily reschedule for the next day once I located and purchased my desired hardware. He helped rekey multiple locks and install a new Schlage smart lock.
I would absolutely recommend them and use them again (and I'd ask for Kurt by name!)

Yesterday our front door lock failed - which since the side door lock had already failed - meant the only available entryway was through the back patio door.... I've never had a lock just decide to no longer work with keys - but I guess that's why these "specialty secure" locks the previous owner had installed are now obsolete... contacted 6 different 5 star rated locksmiths. We were moving to a new office and needed an video intercom with an electric slide to open our door on the first floor from the second floor. Kurt gave us some great options, pricing, and a did an excellent job installing and making sure we took advantage of all the features that the intercom offered. He also took the time to check up on us days/weeks after the job was already completed. He came a week later to make sure things were working for us and we identified a problem door lock on another door where keys were used to open/lock both sides of a glass door. Super happy with the service. Amanda came out on time, was very knowledgeable, and was able to fix several issues on our old house. Our house was built in the 1920s and the original lock is on our front door but it was having issues. Not many companies I called seemed knowledgeable or comfortable with the lock that old and just wanted to replace the lock, amanda was able to keep all thr original lock and hardware and shine it up. They also replaced the bathroom lock with something period appropriate. Would totally use them again or recommend to others, thanks!

I'm the board president for a 6 unit condo. I'm feeling badly that I called this company for servicWe used this company in August 2018. We immediately had to call they back out at least twice for locks that stuck and wouldn't open.
Today, I was locked out for 15 minutes. My dogwalker just called and he can't get in either.
You are getting one star because you at least responded to our first calls to fix your poor installation.
Now this has disintegrated into a safety concern.
The outer lock won't turn and the inner doors lock just fell loose out of the door.

Kurt from On The Go provided the quickest and most professional locksmith I ever used! My other experiences consisted of guys who took a few hours to arrive and charged an arm and a leg. 9:30PM on a Sunday night, Kurt saved the day. Everything from calling to tell me his ETA, which was under 20 min, and walking me through the whole process and being upfront about pricing. Totally recommend these guys - make sure to ask for Kurt!

I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I recently locked myself out of my apartment. It's not a good feeling standing outside your securely locked front door, frantically checking your pockets, only to realize none of them contain your keys.
After mentally preparing myself for what I was sure was going to be hours of waiting in the blazing heat, I called On The Go. The locksmith, Kurt, called me back within minutes to confirm my address and let me know he was on his way. He arrived within half an hour and was able to pick the lock without a problem. The cost was reasonable as well

I locked my keys to my bedroom door in my room. This is a normal lock nothing special. I asked how much to open this door.... I was quoted $35 just for the drive and $80 to open the lock. $115!!!???? For a 5 minute job!? He then said he'd do a even $100. WOW thanks so much for the HUGGGEEEE SAVINGS. *sarcastically*

Went on YouTube. Yes no lie YOUTUBE. Looked up how to open locks and used the credit card trick. Bent my card Slid it into door and WAM! It opened. Took me 2 minutes and saved me $115 from a rip off guy.
