I waited FAR TOO LONG to post this review. My husband and I bought a new home in May, 2016 and used ET Locksmith to have all the locks changed the day we closed. The service was EXCELLENT! The technician came out right away, chanced all the locks, keyed them to each other and did a fabulous job. I will use these folks again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend them!

Hired ET Locksmith for a lock change to a porch door that I never had a key for. Brandon came out and he was awesome. Took one look and told me that he could possibly make one of my house keys work in the lock. He was able to do that instead of having to replace the whole doorknob and lock. Fast and easy. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I had just moved into a new condo 2 weeks ago, and as I was throwing out stuff from the move I inadvertantly locked myself out. I was in the hallway with the only advice was to try and credit card nudge the door open.
Chris from ET Locksmith was at my front door 35 minutes after I called. He was friendly and did his best not to cause any unneeded damage. He was in pretty quickly, I'd say 5 minutes and it was very appreciated. Like I said I just moved in, and don't know my neighbors. All my spares were inside, because I didn't plan on locking myself out the first 2 weeks.

ET locksmith to the rescue again. I just used them for the second time and they were quick to answer the phone call, and quick to arrive at my home. Process took about 1.5 hrs from call, to the tech showing up, and work completed.
I, first called ETL. a few years ago when my front door lock was giving my problems due to the humidity causing the wood door to swell up. I have a thicker than normal door which causes more of an issue during the humid months. The repair was better than anything I could have done and it lasted for about two and a half years. In the past, I was tinkering with it

Great customer service! Excellent communication! Adam was outstanding- he congratulated me on my first home purchase and made sure he cleaned up after himself. Adam worked efficiently to replace two door locks and two deadbolts. I will absolutely encourage my friends and neighbors to call these guys first and ask for Adam when they want the job done right!

Thanks for getting me into my place at 2a after a very boozey trip to Mexico! I discovered I didn't have my house keys a couple hours before flying back to Chicago. I was flying through Phoenix so called in between legs. I expected to be home by 1a so set it up so Patrick would meet me then. My flight was delayed a short time so when I got to Chicago I changed meet time to 1:30a. Baggage claim took longer than expected so called again to change meet time to 2a. Nobody got annoyed by my constant changes and I was expecting to get charged an arm and a leg for a 2a Sunday morning lockout. ET

Based upon reviews in both Angie's List and Yelp (if you aren't a member of Angie's list, I recommend it -- $10/year I think? is worth it), I chose ET for getting locks re-keyed. Despite a slight mishap about rescheduling times, Wayne showed up on time for the original appointment. He was well-prepared, polite and extremely efficient despite the change in orders. He made sure that I checked that the locks worked when he was finished, which I appreciated. We will most likely need assistance again for new doors, and I hope that Wayne will be sent out to see us again!

Its just before midnight and Tim just opened up our locks (after I somehow dropped my keys down the elevator shaft). He called, came by after just over 30 minutes of waiting and did the job with his handy toolkit. He was also careful to mention legal requirements about lock picking which made the operation feel a bit more comfortable. Hopefully I never have to call a locksmith for lockout again, but if I need to, I know who to call.

Eli made gracious amends by refunding us half the labor cost after I mentioned the extreme difference between the quote and the actual cost. I truly appreciate his earnest response and wanting to ensure that we were 100% happy with the service - price and all. Many business owners today do not even care to reply to customer issues, especially not with the speed and concern that Eli replied to our issue. I picked ET locksmith based on the reviews.
Slava was the guy who came out. He was a pretty cool guy, clearly knew his stuff. I sort of followed him around to see if he needed help and to see what he was doing. He was very efficient.
It turns out 2 of the 3 interior panels were bad as was the outside one. I also asked him if he could re-hook up the door opener

I recently used their service for my rental property. Since I had them before on my primary unit's building, I knew great work would be performed.
While I was on vacation, the technician came to my rental, my tenant was watching, and fixed the issue. I paid $90. After speaking with my tenant, I found out that after a quick analysis, the technician only sprayed WD-40 and the lock/key worked like new. According to my tenant, he was only there less than 10 minutes.
So, I called the owner to indicate that paying $90 was a bit much for something that was so simple and only took 10 minutes

ET provided us with a great experience overall. Within the span of one week we had a intercom/buzzer system diagnosed and serviced for 2 issues - both repaired within the hour (even after 6pm). Our tech, Dejan, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, honest as he walked me through the issues we were having. At no time did I feel that we were being taken for a ride as all charges were explained prior to any work taking place.
We'll definitely be using ET again in the future for any lock/security needs.

I've been having trouble installing some gate locks at our condo building. Waved the white flag and called up these guys to take over. Eli responded VERY quickly to my service request through their website listed on Yelp. He came out the next day, exactly at the time he said he would.
When he got there he could see that I had done all of the prep work with the holes. He then showed how the lock operates and what I had probably done wrong in the process. He then took the time to install the lock in the existing holes I had made and made sure it worked right. He did this all for no charge
