We had neighbors refer us to Mike and Budget Moving after having used them several times with great results. We were not disappointed! Mike was very responsive in getting an estimate together (same day) and questions answered. He worked coordinated with the packing company we hired - they work together often. Moving day, the guys showed up with two trucks and 4 guys for a local move. And dare I say it was borderline enjoyable. These guys like their jobs, they listened to us and were very professional and efficient and conducted our entire move with no damage to our household goods or either house

We hired these movers to move us a few blocks down with lots of heavy furniture and boxes. They were very efficient, quick, careful and professional. We moved from a 600 sq ft 3 bedroom (with stairs) to a much larger 3 bedroom and everything was moved in 3.5 hours. They made moving so much easier for us, it was worth every cent! The team was very friendly and made sure we had everything where we wanted it. We would definitely recommend them!

Mike and his team were outstanding. I moved from Seattle to Pullman in June 2021, and after getting 6 quotes, Mike gave me a great price—he was flexible and helped work within my budget. Not only that, his guys picked up all my stuff in less than an hour and dropped it off later that night.

10/10 would recommend! Incredibly professional, careful, and efficient. We had to reschedule because of the snow storm but the owner was responsive and very helpful. He cared about keeping everyone safe given the road conditions and I definitely appreciated that.

We used Budget Moving for the second time in 2 years. We think the price and service and easy communication is worth every penny.
They wore masks were fast and careful. The charges were about $600 for two men to move a one bedroom apt from Capital Hill to Eastlake.
Furniture was appropriately wrapped if needed. Respectful and efficient.
Would recommend them and use them again!

I dont recommend budget moving at all! they are super slow, talk with their phones for more than 30 mins and then talk with each other. Show up without mask and when I asked them, they said we dont need mask! they also damaged my property while moving furniture. Dont risk moving with Budget as you end up paying much more!!

I hired Budget Moving for a move into a new house last summer. We had 2 10x15 storage units with all of our stuff from the condo we had moved out of, and needed to move everything to the new house. We had used 2 Men and a Truck to move into the unit and had a great experience, but Budget gave me a good quote, so we went with them, though I now regret that choice. To be honest, day of the movers themselves did a good job. They were friendly and they worked hard. My issue with Budget is the owner, who made rude and sexist comments, and the terrible customer service. I would not recommend them to

Mike and his moving crew were referred to me to help with my mom's move from a Seattle area condo to an assisted living unit near Sacramento, CA. Skipping ahead to the actual move date, Jared and his moving partner got there earlier than expected (Mike had just returned from a long-distance move so had someone else do this one) and on their own put each furniture piece in its intended spot, set up the bed as requested and made the new smaller space as convenient to move around in as possible. Mike and his crew moved me twice in a short period to and from a temporary unit. I have no qualms with their speed, communication, or other deliverables that we typically judge a moving company for.
During the move, a brand new pair of headphones that were in their original box seemed to have disappeared. I cannot say for a fact it was anyone on their crew who may have accidentally tossed them or if it was me who had tossed them; however Mike was very good at having his crew check the entire truck and following up with me on the missing headphones. Mike and his crew have moved me four times and each has been professional, fast, and careful. They have always gone the extra mile. This last move, Mike determined they accidentally overcharged me (it didn't seem that way to me) and gave me a refund by check. That is integrity! Mike and his team were fantastic on my recent move. The team was there on time, communicative, and hard working. They worked efficiently and quickly, and the job was done with no issues whatsoever. Pricing was clear and definitely a great value. We had placed some clothes and other items in garbage bags, and they even had additional boxes and items to make sure that these items were packed efficiently, even if we didn't. If we need to move again, I would definitely use Budget Moving.

Mike and his crew have personally moved us 7 times, since 2006. We usually pack up most of our items in boxes/totes ourselves, but I understand they do offer a packing service. Every single move has been seamless and efficient. I know this may sound like a hype review, but truly I've never had issues. I'm a Realtor, and I've also recommended them to clients for moves, never a problem. That's the way a move should be, no issues, as there's certainly enough stress! I used Budget Moving to move from a ground floor condo in Seattle to a nearby condo in a mid rise condo. I highly recommend them! They showed up on time and worked at a fast pace. They were careful with my furniture and boxes, no damage incurred from the packing/moving process! They brought and used furniture pads, extra boxes and packing material, and were very friendly and professional. Just today (8/9/2014) moved from a 2-bed, 1200-ish sqft place to splitting between two 1-bed places, one in Kirkland and one in Seattle (with the 520 closed, which didn't make things any easier).
I hired them to do all the packing (4 guys, 2 trucks), and unloading/assembly at the new places (not unpacking, though, since that's going to take a LONG time to figure out where things should go :P), and while I wasn't given a specific quote, the overall price was

I found out about Mike and Budget Moving when I was helping another friend. These guys are very efficient and great value for the money. I used them today and could not believe how fast they were going. They come with full supplies and are ready to go. They have everything you will need to make the move happen so no need to pay extra for anything. I will use them as much as I can. They book up pretty fast, so plan accordingly.

I am a single guy who likes changing my environment and Mike and his crew have moved me four times. On time, clean and professional I have never been let down. Art pieces, flat screen TVs, they have seen it all and know the best way to load things and get them to the new destination safe.
