In 1987, Lech Kozubek immigrated from Poland, bringing with him an education in mechanical engineering, as well as a talent for old-world construction and detailed craftsmanship. Lech has operated Kozubek Construction in San Francisco since 1999 where he has undertaken remodeling, repair, and maintenance jobs for both residential and commercial clients.

Lech Kozubek is the finest general contractor we have ever hired, and also one of the finest gentlemen we have ever met. We called him in to take over from another general contractor who was making a mess of things. Lech did so, fixed mistakes the other contractor had made, and then continued to remodel our entire bathroom and study. He was there every day, working alone, working with his crew, or supervising those that he subcontracted - for example, the tile layers.
Lech is extraordinarily intelligent, capable, and detail oriented. His final bill was much lower than that of other contractors

We recently had Kozubek Construction completely remodel the front lobby of our downtown office. Lech is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and did a beautiful job with our custom ceiling, desks, shelving, customer counter (with a gorgeous glass tile mosaic)... everything!
He worked closely with us to ensure that everything was completed according to our needs, and we ended up with a room that is functional, beautiful, and frequently complimented. We are thankful for his work and highly recommend him for all of your construction needs - thank you Lech!

Lech Kozubek has been extremely helpful on two projects that had been problems for me for several years. I wish I had called him sooner. One was lighting several areas that needed motion sensors and there seemed to be no place to put the lights. Lech figured it out and it has worked flawlessly and looks beautiful. The other problem was where water was appearing mysteriously on a wall, causing the paint and plaster to peal. We could not figure it out. We had tried several fixes and caulked everything. He brought in specialized diagnostic equipment and solved the problem quickly. He has good

Lech Kozubek is a perfectionist and it reflects in his work. He and his team assisted with renovations of my business prior to its opening, and they were able to bring to life all my ideas.They were reliable and completed the project on schedule.
In addition to his expertise as a general contract, Lech is also very knowledgeable with San Francisco City codes, permits...etc.
As Eric K. pointed out in his review, Kozubek Constructions is extremely reasonable compared to many other contractors I've dealt with and their level of service surpasses them by far.

I had Kozubek Construction finish my basement a few months ago, and I must say they did an amazing job. Their pricing was very reasonable (I had 5 quotations), and the attention to detail was impeccable. They finished the job a month early, and I was very pleased with the level of quality. This is one of the good guys out there.
