We contacted Master Locksmith of Portland, OR and they made an appointment right away. The technician who came out was thorough, respectful, quick and was able to assist us in the transfer of all of our locking systems/ They made recommendations which not only saved us money, but ease of use, and more secure and manageable system, which put our family's safety in the forefront. First I would like to say that I don't like writing negative reviews. But this is an example of service that is unacceptable and clearly demonstrated poor business practices.
I received an evening call midweek from friends who were locked out of their house. They were both sick and needed to get back in their house.
It was after 10pm. So I called and the individual who took my call said that I would be receiving a call shortly about setting up service. After 20 minutes, I decided to contact another service provider. That service provider took my call, returned the call within five minutes

They sent a young gentleman from Clark's Locksmith Solutions. A little late, but they did a good job and stuck with the quote. Quote price seemed OK; I had called other places to compare. I was worried they were a scam, because of the limited reviews on Yelp. He told me for some reason his boss prefers reviews on Google not Yelp.

Called to have my deadbolt replaced on my front door. After first contacting Master Locksmith directly, I received calls from a series of people. They did show up timely, but it was 2 guys in a car. They seemed to know what they were talking about and after looking at my situation they said they had to go back to the "shop" to pick up parts. When they came back it was clear they just went to Home Depot to pick up a replacement lock. They had trouble installing the lock and had to FaceTime with someone who walked them through what was needed. They did eventually get the lock replace

My tool cabinet with the lost key was only partially opened by locksmith as he could not open all the drawers of the cabinet. So he fairly discounted his fee as he could not do anything further. I ended up using a prybar to break open the other drawers. Now cabinet does not lock anymore as lock system is broken. However, he did the best he could. He told me if this was a car he could get it open quickly.

I just recently bought a craftsman house in S.E. Portland and was brought to tears several times by our front door, which only opened one out of every 100 times you went to unlock it. In a fit of frustration I called master locksmith and they arranged for a guy to meet my the next afternoon. He was on time and incredibly knowledgeable, he told me all about my lock and was even able to guess the exact year the house was built (1925) just from looking at the lock! He was able to replace it on the spot but he kept me updated the whole time he was there, being careful to let me know whenever something

Quick response to a request for quote, was able to arrange for them to come the next day, which was a Saturday. Chose them because their estimate came in at the middle of the pack, neither the most expensive nor the cheapest.
David, the technician, arrived on time and looked at my 4 locks, then quoted me an amount that was 250% of the original quote. I pushed back, he called the boss, and after going back and a forth twice, we finally settled on the original quote plus a yelp review. Did he decide to jack up the quote because I'm a woman and women are less likely to haggle?

I requested a quote for rekeying. It was a rush job, needed by the end of the day. Dean was quick to reply, clarified exactly what we needed. He dispatched Sean, the tech who arrived earlier than promised. I called Master Locksmith for assistance on June 10th (I realize my review is a bit late). After coming home from work, I found that the latch on the door to my garage had jammed open after I unlocked it. When I called Master Locksmith, it was after hours, almost 7:00 in the evening. I recently bought a 2007 Mazda MX-5 with the advanced key less entry system. probelm was that the seller only had the AUX and not a fob.
Called arounded. Cheapest dealer wanted 440 for just the fob. not including labor and you had to program them in twos. Even the dealer said it would be wise to shop around since it would of been almost a grand for just 2 key fobs.
So i called a few lock smiths. One even told me that he wasnt going to waste his time on such a job (guy was very rude and arrogant). So i kept calling around. a few others said they had never done one and would charge me even if

Daniel and David were extremely nice, professional and stand by their work, guaranteed.
Our office needed some work done, and these guys came out to us on a short notice. They completed the job and had a coworker come out to double check the work. They even cleaned up their mess when they left.
