Wow!!!!! Service genius really has top notch service!!!! From the first phone call all through the end of the whole service, all I can say is I'm very impressed. I spoke with Erica and Maria on the phone and they are very knowledgeable of the services they provide. I like the membership too and the services included in it.

Bad experience with management of Service Genius. Had to call 3 times to try and cancel a contract. Spoke with manager Neil who promised he would send me an email specifically stating they are not renewing my contract within 24 hours and he DID NOT do it. It appears they do this whole bs thing pretending that only managers can cancel contracts and then try to avoid doing it. Will be forwarding information to CA State Attorney General office about possible fraud. They should interview the manager Neil about the intentional roadblocks they put into not renewing contracts. AVOID SERVICE GENIUS. AVOID

This company is irresponsible and unprofessional, went through multiple customer service representatives for the same install. Technician did NOT show up on time, no text or phone call, I was assured, due to a timeframe with my tenant that the technician would show up to once again "measure" so the install would go smoothly, this did NOT happen, it is past 9am and the "tracking" on the technician once again showed 19 minutes to arrival, once again, well past the agreed scheduled appointment time. My landlord contacted this company because Sear dropped the ball on our service call concerning my water heater. Within minutes of him contacting this company I received a text message with a 2 hour service window for a representative to come out to my home. This made me happy because most companies will keep you waiting at home for more than half the day for a rep to come out. They had my address wrong and I was able to just respond via text to correct the error which was very convenient. I then received a text a picture and the name of the company representative that would be coming to my home

They scheduled me for a Jan19 appointment (waited between 11am-1pm), they called said their repair technician's truck broke down and needed to reschedule. Second appointment scheduled for about a week later, they again called saying technician was "tied up" with prior job and wouldn't be able to make it (rescheduled me for Jan 30, 11am-1pm window). I waited the two hours, no one came or called. I called their office to find out what happened, receptionist Erika said she'd call me within half hour to let me know status...never called, no one

Eduardo Ramirez with Service Genius was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The service was a success, and didn't cost us a dime, thanks ladwp!! Our unit it running much better, keeping the house cool quicker, and our outside fan seems to be quitter too!

Worst experience with this company. Between my family we have spent over $30K with them getting AC work done. We got a new AC unit and were promised a nice looking grill for inside our house. As you can see we got a sheet of metal with 10 screws in it which directly screws into our ceiling. This is nothing like the picture they showed us or what was promised. On top of it they tried to tel me that sheet of metal cost $950. I did get them to refund $400 but I'm still so unhappy. The response time was slow and horrible and it took forever to even get the sheet of metal here which I did not approve

I used Seevice Genius twice and they were awesome both time with servicing my units. They were thorough and explain all services performed.
My most recent experience with Luis was awesome. He did a tube up in my AC/heating unit. Good safety precautions were taken since he wore a mask and shoe covers while in the house. He was very informative with what he did and what he would recommend going forward. Look forward to using them again for my servicing needs.

My experience with Service Genius was very unpleasant. At first, they seemed very friendly & helpful, really there to be here for the customer. They figured out it was our boards that were the issue and when they spoke with Midea (the manufacturer) they told us that we, unfortunately, did not have a warranty to cover it. Obviously, the cost was very high so we called Midea personally to double-check the warranty and we found out that we actually did have a warranty on our unit, but they still insisted that the cost would still be the same even with our warranty. As a licensed general contractor when you have anyone service your home I agree you may be very skeptical.
My objective is to get my heat working cause it's cold at night and my children are young
I was given a time slot from 10-12, the tech didn't show up till 130pm. I have a company to run myself therefore transparency on an eta is significant as I'm not sitting home.
The tech was pretty good. He couldn't really explain in detail what he did to get the unit turned on. What's great is that he used my fuses to replace the one that was blown to then charge me $144

This company are a scam and liars .we had a leaking in our air condition .their technician came and burn our compressors the whole compressors and we heard the bomb that caused the compressor to burn and what they did when we told them they want us to change a whole unit and that's the only way out to it
