Same hourly rates apply for packing as for moving services plus charges for packing materials needed. We charge hourly in quarter hour increments with minimum 1 hour travel charges.

Emanuel was a good estimator of cost, followed up with time/date, contracts and the "what to expect". Aaron, Jose and Foster showed up on time, worked non stop despite the heat and humidity, packed out quickly and professionally. The move in included 2 flights of steps-again, they worked quickly and efficiently, covered the carpeting, and nothing was damaged and no funky up charges at the end. They did a good job, would highly recommend them.

My most recent move with Mighty Men Movers was the worst moving experience I've ever had, and I've moved a dozen times in the last 15 years. I used the company in 2013 when moving from one apartment to another in DC and had a very smooth and efficient experience, so I booked them for another move last month. We downsized from a house in Arlington to a condo in Reston right as covid was hitting in March 2020. Mighty Men packed all our fragile dishes, glassware and art glass collection. Not a thing broke! They did a great job wrapping our furniture and moving everything carefully. A dresser drawer did break and Emmanuel came, took it away and fixed it. He offered to reimburse us if we didn't like his fix, but we were quite satisfied. Movers were quick and respectful with our things. Planning on using them this summer for my son's move.

We were moving out of state about 2.5 hours away and they by far provided the best value at the best price.

I rarely write reviews at all so it takes a lot to make me want to. I completed a very local move (5 minute drive away) and hired Mighty Men movers. I got an estimate and planned it over the phone with Emmanuel, the owner. Everything very professional and considering reviews expected the same on move day. Is there such a thing as a great moving experience? I thought not, too, until I used MMM. I had a 2 BDRM/2 BATH, place in a multi-unit dwelling. Between working from home, studying and trying to pack, I was developing borderline anxiety.

I was quotes for 150 for 3 movers for my move day. The day off, only 2 showed up, and when I asked them about the rate, they claimed it is 150 for 2 movers. I proceeded to explain the quote I already had, and when I asked who can I talk to, the guy said there is no one you can call. After I showed him the contract I signed, he ended up calling his boss, and then gave me a quote for 130 per hour, which is now too steep for what they were offering. We has Mighty Men Moving help our family with a local move over Memorial Day weekend, they were great. In advance of the move Emmanuel came out to our house and gave us a quote that was very close to the final amount. The team on the day were on time, efficient, courteous and very helpful. Great experience from start to finish. Emmanuel came out himself to give a quote , was accurate and efficient. The guys were organized and moved quickly. The move into our new home was done in 35 degree weather and pouring rain. They worked hard to make sure nothing got wet and everything was done with excellence and the quote was actually more than we ended up paying. HIGHLY recommend MMM for any move local or cross country

Emmanuel was great at communication in terms of explaining details ,following up a day prior to moving and most important great prices and super efficient staff !No hidden charges,very transparent and great service !I did a lot of research and zerod in on Mighty men moving ! I had booked a move with Two Men and a Truck, and they waited until I'd driven nearly an hour to our agreed-upon location to tell me they were going to be THREE HOURS LATE for my two o'clock move. This would put me finishing the move sometime around 10 pm. Understandably, I was furious and they were indifferent. They took no responsibility for the problem

TL;DR: Nothing was damaged (if you don't count scratched walls). Still, I wouldn't recommend these movers. No uniforms, no booties, and overall we felt we had to supervise the entire ordeal, in general professionalism was really lacking. One mover (who refused to tell me his name) was actually aggressive towards me! I couldn't belive what I was experiencing after reading the other Yelp reviews. However, in hindsight the negative reviews do call out movers who become aggressive, and the positive reviews are a little dated.

Rest assured in the knowledge that the quote is accurate, and you will not have any hidden charges tacked on at the end. My husband and I are so grateful for Mighty Men Moving with our recent move. You really don't realize how many things you have until you start packing and putting your whole life into boxes. Even though we were moving down the street, we wouldn't have been able to do all of the big item moving on our own (and didn't want to trouble our friends).

I am always hesitant to leave a negative review, especially for a company with whom I have yet to receive services. This will be my exception. I called for an estimate on moving a 3-bedroom townhouse which is fully packed. I am moving less than 2 miles away, mid-week and this is not a last minute move. The person I spoke with told me that it would take 6-8 hours. I tried to explain that I didn't have much furniture and how close the locations were to one another, and maybe 2-3 hours was a more reasonable estimate. The gentleman hung up the phone on me. Unprofessional and rude.

I never thought I would give 5 stars to a moving company, but Mighty Men Moving deserves it! From the timely response with an accurate quote, to efficiently and safely moving all of our items, they couldn't have done a better job.
We have some very heavy, fragile items that my husband I am were concerned about moving. MMM listened to my concerns, and handled the items as if they were the owners.

Emmanuel was a pro from the start of this process his quote was right on the money. The movers Walt, JT, and one more (who's name I didn't catch) worked like crazy all the way though the move.
Very professional, very quick, and very careful. They walked in asked what needed to go and BAM they were working right away.
The move wasn't easy either, they moved out a basement of a house with annoying stairs to a 4th floor walk up. I was amazed how quickly they worked especially considering they charge by the hour.

Emmanuel really did a standup job getting me what I needed at the right price where we both were perfectly comfortable. I appreciated his sincere approach and promptness.
The 2 guys (John and Morgan) that helped move everything were such sweethearts. They wrapped all of my stuff carefully yet quickly in those thick moving blankets and secured it with tape. They were extremely cognizant of walls and corners, nothing was scratched

Top, top, top notch! I have moved multiple times and have used multiple moving companies. Most movers are sub-par. This company is AWESOME!!! Professional, careful, fast, no nonsense. Just completely great! The team that completed my move was fabulous! They were so careful and did everything in the scheduled time. And, best of all, no hidden charges!! Prompt. Reliable. Very cost competitive. That is how I would describe Mighty Men Moving. We had recently moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in Arlington to our daughter and son-in law’s house in Fairfax County pending the completion of our cottage in Lancaster County PA. Half of our possessions were in storage nearby and the rest were in the house. Our move to Fairfax County had been acceptable, but not great, so we decided to get estimates from two movers in addition to an estimate from our original mover. With Mighty Men Moving, Emmanuel came and gave us a ball bark estimate of $2200 to $2700
