We started Best Owner Direct HVAC to be different from other companies and fill a need we saw in the industry. Companies with inflated business plans requiring technicians to generate large service tickets, while under performing basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenances. Often HVAC technicians either don't have enough time, the proper tools, or the education to perform these critical tasks.
When customers and workers are in a commercial building that has a functioning heating and cooling system, nobody really notices because they feel comfortable and at ease. And that's the way it should be when you want your company to achieve success. However, if anything goes wrong with your heating and cooling system, everyone will definitely notice.

Our A/C stopped working during the record heat wave in PDX in late June 2021. Most HVAC repair companies were scheduling well into August (it was late June), I was able to easily schedule an appointment online for early July. An email confirming my appointment was sent to my email. Cody arrived on time and was very courteous and professional.… Offered to wear a mask if necessary (it wasn't). Our HVAC is in our attic which makes it a bit more difficult to access and very HOT! No complaints about these issues for Cody, he was highly experienced and prepared. Cody asked about this issue and

Our furnace broke in the middle of winter.
Kevin & his team came to replace it at a very competitive price fairly quickly.
Been meaning to write this review but kept pushing it off.
Kevin explained how the system works, and provided some insights & tips that were very helpful.
The AC still worked but it was very old so I expressed interest in replacing it as well. Kevin actually told me to wait until a better rebate program comes out.
I had it replaced anyway, but this shows you this shop wasn't going to make a quick buck by sacrificing customer's best interest

Both ac systems failed inspection. We had a heck of of time with their electricians. It took them over a week to finish the install. My husband withheld the final payment until it passed inspection, since it failed the first one, but they debited our account anyways without our consent. We had two systems installed and half of the upstairs of my house is still warmer than when I had my 28yr old air conditioner. A nightmare.

Had them out to install a new high efficiency furnace and A/C. They were cheaper than just an A/C unit from other quotes I got 3 years ago. Kevin and his team did a great job, cleaned up well and even educated me on how to keep it maintained and clean it to help avoid having breakdowns. Even recommended where to get filters at a reasonable price. We will be having them back out to do a tankless hot water heater. You can't go wrong with Kevin and his crew.

Kevin came out right away to diagnose our broken furnace after we tried to fix it ourselves unsuccessfully for over a week. He had it figured out within 5 minutes and called in the parts right away. He had another one of his techs back later that day to fix the furnace and now we're nice and warm again. He was very honest and upfront and their pricing was fantastic. These guys are my new go to company for anything air conditioning or hvac related. Highly recommend!!!

Last year, Kevin found out what was wrong with my AC (incorrect parts installed on new unit put in by sellers). I could not get any resolution from sellers, not even the name of the company that put in the wrong unit. He was able to fix problem and offered to write a letter so I could send it to the state for fraud/bbc or wherever I needed to send to fight it.
He also fixed a number of things that were missed on home inspection and repair ductwork, including 5 joints in the dryer vent.

Our (very old) HVAC system went out, and I know little to nothing about them so I wasn't even sure what to tell the tech. Kevin came out and found the problem immediately, swapped a part, then cleaned out our filter and condenser and it's blowing cold air better than before. The price was very reasonable and less than I expected. Tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely call them again when I need to.

I was referred to Best Owner by my Naturopath after discussing the need for a better house filtration system on our AC. We also needed to have the duct work under our house replaced as the mice decided to… customize it. Kevin and Anje were professional from the very start. Kevin came to the house and was able to work around our unique situation. We scheduled the start date about a month out and Kevin showed up on the start date. A good friend of mine recently used Kevin for repairs to his AC unit. He was pleased with the honesty and fairness of Kevin's work and referred me to him.
I called Kevin as my AC unit also wasn't functioning. Over the phone, he helped me diagnose and troubleshoot the problem. I tackled the repair myself and for the cost of a couple of replacement fuses successfully completed the repair and am ready for the 100+ degree temps coming this weekend!
He refused any sort of compensation which is incredible as I was prepared to pay a technician hundreds of dollars to make a service call to

I had a system put in three years ago by another company and it was never installed correctly. The dampers and zones were never set up to work with the new system, and so every time it got cold, the heater quit working. They were VERY rude, and the last time, actually replied to my yelp by saying I was lying and I was at fault...I was livid.
So I began looking for someone to fix this for me, and then I figured I'd have to sue for the amount. Best Owner Direct came out, sold me parts at the cost of the part, then put them in, and made commitments with me that they will even come to check
