Each of our heating & cooling technicians is an employee, state licensed and undergoes hours of extensive in-house training, testing and skill assessments.
As a general rule of thumb, your AC may be up for replacement if it's been 10-15 years since it was installed. And a heat pump will last about 15 years. This, of course, varies depending on the efficiency of the unit and if it was sized correctly for your home, the manufacturer, how it was installed, how repairs were handled, and how consistently it was maintained (new filters, calibration, cleaning, etc.).

Adam provided excellent service. He explained what he was doing and patiently answered all my questions. He checked all the parts of my heating system thoroughly and ensured that the system was operating with the correct settings. I appreciated his taking the time to do his revision correctly. Had 3 estimates. 5 Star Heating & Cooling aka Hilliard-Dublin Heating & Air gave us the best price for the exact same type of equipment and warranties the other providers were offering. Brandon Mathews came to our condo to provide the estimate. He was thorough and professional. The techs that did the actual install arrived within the timeframe promised. I was prepared for them to arrive but they did not give me a heads-up phone call. No big deal just a bit of a surprise. Robert Koehl and Dominick worked quietly. They were done in under 4 hours. GREAT! They walked me through all of the new equipment

Installers of our new Carrier heating & cooling system went extremely well. Installers were hard working, experienced, communicated clearly and just great friendly folks. System is working very well for the one day it’s been running so far. Price was very competitive - best bang for my buck in my estimation. Couldn’t be happier. Service under the Annual Service Agreement was completed in timely and professional manner. The Technician provided a complete and understandable explanation of his findings for both the HVAC systems. He changed filter as needed and cleaned the AC outside unit as well. Tony did awesome job. He was extremely nice, he went above and beyond to help us. Tony and Hilliard-Dublin Heating & Air care about customers rather than money. My ac was broken and I could only cover diagnostic fee, so I asked them to run diagnostic service for now and come back in two weeks. They only charged minimum and gave me huge discount just because they did not wanted me to stay without ac. Thank you so much for all your help!!

Shane and Brion’s AC and furnace installation service was great: both were professional, courteous and informative with any questions or concerns I had. They did it all in timely manner and my garage floor (needed access to the attic) was cleaner than when they came in! 5 Star Heating and Cooling... two big thumbs up for the overall experience!
