When he opened the company in 2004, he had 19 years experience. He started Pruitt's Plumbing with one truck and one technician and has built it up to 30 employees in 3 major regions in Arizona. They caused a gas leak from the water heater unit. Once my family noticed it we called the gas company to come out and they shut it off immediately. The plumbing company wanted to charge to come back out and service it after they caused damage to a brand new unit and cemented around the piping and not addressing the actual issue. Once we noticed a bigger problem they didn’t want to come fix it unless we paid them again. This could have caused serious damage and life threatening issues that they didn’t care about.

Broken pipe in the slab, had home warranty policy, Pruitt was the recommended plumber, had doughts about a company who our warranty company recommended. Terrible service! Had an authorization from the manufacturer of my water heater to replace as the part is not available to fix. Never replaced. 2 trips, one of which I was told that I might not want to hear it but "hot water is a luxury" and that they didn't work for me, they worked for my warranty company. 18 days without hot water and countless hours on hold, I have a new plumber and it's being replaced within 24 hours of making the change. AVOID this company!

I would never recommend them, I waited 6 days for them to come out and fix a leak underneath my house. So I went without water for six days only turning it on to flush toilets. Plumber comes out and says it's to wet underneath to fix it, says they need to come back out when the ground is dyer. Plus tells me that they have to pull water heater out to fix it.. I called another plumbing company out and they fixed leak in less than 1 hour !! And they didn't have to pull water heater out.. I will NEVER CALL PRUITTS AGAIN !! And DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I was VERY skeptical when Pruitt was assigned to handle the warranty of our water heater at first. As I looked online, the reviews were terrible. However, if you ask the right questions and communicate properly, most bad experiences can be avoided - which was our case.
I was up front with them about bad reviews and they made it their duty to show me a GOOD experience, which they did. Kudos to them for making it all happen ... Now to the review.

From start to finish was horrible unfortunately. Had a 4 hour window to arrive, and still showed up 20 minutes late :/ The tech that came to my home laughed when I did not know there was a switch I had to flip in the kitchen (I had no clue), laughed once again due to the fact that I called a plumber for the main water valve when it should have been a landscaper (had no clue), and then to top it off lied to my insurance company saying that I tampered with the washers cold water valve so it could not be replaced, when all I did was remove the washers hose to put a new washer in. I'm furious

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET THESE CROOKS INTO YOUR HOME. Like other reviewers, I had a Pruitt's 'plumber' come out and look at my water heater because it was not heating the water. They told the warranty company it was leaking from the bottom due to corrosion and rust. They never discussed this with me, and it never leaked from the bottom before the 'plumber' came out and expressed water out the front and said 'oh crap'. A licensed plumber would have known that by loosening that valve/nut/screw (whatever it was) would have this result. All they want

Wow! This company was forced on me by my warranty provider. Not only did they falsify documentation to the warranty company they then tried to extort payment for the repairs from me! This came directly from the owner, not an employee. I have since gotten a second opinion and the fix is underway. Stay away if you want any hope of a legitimate repair.

My water leek is in the area of 30000 gallons per month(3/4 gallons per minute)plumber went under house and fixed a tiny leak and said he could find nothing else, i called Mohave leak out of Lake Havasu and they found the leak under the house where Pruitt said they had looked!, while under the house they, Pruitt crushed my HVAC lines which will most likely need to be replaced. this was done thru First American Home Warranty, they have been notified

Pruitts Plumbing replaced my hot water heater through my home warranty about a year ago. I read some of their reviews from the PHX area and had some concerns. When they showed up they had the correct hot water heater and installed in about a hour. It's been a year now and no problems with it or the installation.

Water heater went out, 'whole home ins.' sent Pruitts (Lake Havasu). Tech was snarky and acted mad at me so I went inside and left him alone. Went to check and he was on phone with ins. co. telling them I needed a larger water heater (mine was 50 gal.) and new one would be taller so I had to pay him extra $280 for materials. He then went on to tell me I had major water damage and needed a restoration company to come and repair. He had me call my homeowners ins. to see my deductible and when

My hot water heater was leaking but covered under a home warranty. Pruitts Plumbing was the warranty contractor for the area. I called the Phoenix number and they scheduled me for the next morning (between 8-12) which was my request. Bobby called me first thing in the morning to get some info about the hot water heater and told me he had one job first and would call me when he was done. Bobby called back an hour or so later and said he was on his way, 10 minutes later he was there. He determined the hot water heater did need replacing and had the exact one already in his truck ready to install
