Had the pleasure of working with Nick and Melissa to do the 40k mile service on my 2014 Cayman S today. They are very friendly, professional and clearly passionate about the cars. The post-service report is one of the best I have seen, with photos, plenty of comments -- you can tell they really went through the car. Highly recommend it if you want your Porsche to be well taken care of -- bonus: their showroom is a total eye-candy store.

I recently bought a 2007 GT3, the car is phenominal, but shortly after it arrived and having drove less millage then i would have liked I ran into some unexpected issues. Unsure of what to expect, Graham and his team went above and beyond what my expectations were. Super Profesional and all around calm and polite even when i got upset. By far my best car-buying experience in 40 years. Fair, transparent price. No awkward back&forth with the "secret boss". People here really care about building a long-term relationship with their customers since they cater to a special crowd. Don't know if they are any good at car sales, but low integrity when it comes to buying cars. Supposedly had a deal and everytime they reached out they lowered offer price. Foolishly, I waited on them and lost a buyer who ended up buying something else... rather lose money than sell to them my 911, now.

I was referred to Response Motors by a customer on rennlist. We've had been searching for a 997S cabriolet with a manual in gray me for six months. Contacted dealer up and down the west coast. We even missed out on two cars at Response Motors because the sold before we had a chance. Graham, the owner, remembered us and the car we wanted. He contacted us a month later when the "Exact" car we wanted came in. We almost settled but Graham came through. APPEARANCE DISCRIMINATION. Have you heard "Don't judge a book by its cover"? You might think your 964 is rare at $60k but that is nothing compared to what Porsche enthusiasts drive. And are after. Not allowing customer's request to feel the clutch while idling is a bit too much. You could have sold it right there but we will not drop a penny with that kind of profiling. You are in the Bay Area, grow up!

I purchased a 996TT from Response Motors (Graham) over a year ago and this company is top notch. There was absolutely no pressure and closing out the deal (and all the paperwork) was easy and quick. Prices are also fair.
I've since brought the car in for maintenance and upgrades. The Response Motors Service team (Melissa and Nick) installed an aftermarket wing (with paint match), a couple of go fast goodies and everything is working as expected and looks great. They kept me in the loop throughout the upgrade process/maintenance.

I recently purchased a 996 C4S from Response Motors. Initially, I sent an email requesting more information about the car and I promptly received a huge jacket of information along with a slew of highly detailed photographs. After reviewing the documentation and telephoning Graham, we were able to work a sight unseen deal. Purchased a 2005 997.1 S from Graham back in August. Best decision I made in 2019. The car only had ~60k on the clock and was immaculate inside and out. Graham took the time really check over the car and his engineering expertise allows you to really purchase with confidence that the cars he sells don't have frame damage or other sub-system component damage and are ready to go. He won't sell you something he wouldn't drive himself and the quality of the vehicles he offers shows that.

First, the advertisement was well detailed with carfax, full spec sheet and great pictures. Browsing through the cars in the inventory, all the cars had similar high quality postings. He even provided high res pictures of the car that helped close scrutiny of the car.
Second, It was clear that all the cars in his inventory were well curated as if geared to an enthusiast and not like the hodgepodge selection that you find at independent dealers. The Porsche I looked at was better than some of the 'certified cars

I recently purchased a 2013 Porsche 911 from Graham at Response. This was one of the best car buying experiences I've had. They are open during the evenings which works with my schedule. Graham has a lot of passion for all the vehicles that come through his doors, explaining their history and unique details.
After the purchase, we needed to repair some screw holes in the bumper caused by the front license plate. Response removed the bumper and coordinated this work with a nearby bodyshop at no charge. Top notch service!

Graham is a true car enthusiast, not a salesman. He works as an engineer and does this on the side because he loves cars. I found a 2007 cayman for sale online and it looked like it was in very good shape. After exchanging a few emails with Graham, I decided I wanted to test the car out. I drove all the way from LA to check the car out, and it was totally worth it. Every car he sells is in amazing condition, they all look like brand new cars. Graham sold my parents a beautiful black Lexus that looks and drives like new. He even made sure that it got a brand new battery and was polished and immaculate right before they picked up the car.
