Top notch service provided here with a smile and excellent results. I had to get my windshield replaced and it cost more to pay my deposit through insurance than to have MAZ replace it out of pocket. I am very happy with the results, quality of work and service provided. They were able to get me in and out in less than a couple hours. Hopefully I won't have to get another windshield replaced, but if I do, I know I'll be headed right to MAZ Glass without hesitation. Thank you

This is a terrible shop, dishonest and won't back up their work. They replaced a broken windshield for me. Later during auto body repair they discovered a leak in windshield so I took back to Maz. They claimed to check it and couldn't find anything. I then had leaking into my car during heavy rains. Decided to take to another glass shop and they discovered the seal needed to be replaced and all is better.

TLDR: Definitely definitely go with MAZ glass (5 stars for Mershad @ MAZ Glass) for any glass/window issues!
I had a window bracket that was broken in our unit when we moved in, having put it off for a couple weeks while I sorted out other things- I figured it was time to get it taken care of. After running into a dead end with my HOA and the original contractors (building is about 13 years old), I reached out to several glazing companies and hands down Mershad @ MAZ Commercial Glass had the best customer service and follow up. While I gathered Mershad typically handles the commercial/large projects

I've been going to MAZ since before they moved. My first visit was for my '54 Studebaker, next for several Nissan Sentras.
They have always been pleasant, personable and efficient. Prices were fine and they HAD THE GLASS IN STOCK!
Once, after a new windshield, followed by lotsa rain, i noticed the floor was collecting water. I took it back and the guy said, "Check your tail lite seals." I repaired the seals around the tail lites (nothing to do with the new windshield) and the water problem was gone!
These guys get my top recommendation.

The work was quick for my car window which as it goes was smashed in as Oakland can be,as for now it seems like a great job with the rain we've had that'll be the test..

I took my car to Maz after having my rear car window broken into and things stolen. It is always very stressful to deal with something like this, and on top of everything it was raining! Maz was able to take care of my window immediately and they also worked with my insurance for payment so I didn't have to deal with that. They were kind and conscientious. I highly recommend using this company. They. have been in Oakland for many many years--so it is also nice to support a long time Oakland business!

AAA assisted with arranging ATA from Maz. Closed over New Years weekend but with an emergency both back windows broken in, so reassuring to have a first thing on Tuesday appt. AAA deductible paid and the rest handled without stress. Cleaned up the broken glass strewn throughout the car and confident it'll be repaired like new. Oakland has the need for shops like Maz as this is the second occurrence.

I first did business here in 2012 when I needed 12 mirrored kitchen cabinet facings. Since then, I've sourced many glass shelves and tabletops, some with bevelled and/or polished edges. Ive been pleased with. the work done. The last piece I had cut was a 2nd tabletop and more than 7' long. Atta, the owner insisted on delivering this free. I used MAZ for a custom, seamless shower enclosure. During installation, the workers cracked and chipped my brand new tile AND kept on installing. This delayed installation by a whole week which was already a whole week behind. I had no confidence in the installers as they appeared to be second guessing themselves. One commented that he had never done a custom installation before! I also paid top dollar which makes me sick to think about. Save yourself anguish and go somewhere else.

Had a window in the house which was loose and the insulation was peeling off. Called them and they arrived the same day for a very reasonable estimate for replacement. Called several other places and they never followed up! Very responsive, and prompt service for scheduling installation, which took about an hour.

I had a little imperfection on my glass after replacement... It was very distracting to the driver but hard to see. The owner of Maz took a look. Confirmed the blemish and said he could get a new one for an apt tomorrow. I am only available one day a week. So we set up an apt and I dropped the car off and was done very quickly while I waited around the corner.

9:30pm last night in SF, discovered my Honda CR-V rear quarter window was smashed. Didn't matter that it was parked in front of the Unitarian Universalist Church, btw. Called several glass shops around the area and near my work in SF. All quotes said it was the most expensive window to replace and estimated over $300 to fix. Called MAZ at 9am to check if they had my part; he found a deal for an after-market window and charged $225 no tax. Brought my car in and got my smashed window (and windshield!) replaced. I had to be at work, so I started calling "window installation" companies I found on Yelp once I got to work. I figured at worst, I'd have to let the window stay broken until I could coordinate a time for them to do an estimate. Well, the window installation company said they couldn't do repairs and recommended Maz glass.
I called at about noon. They said they could be there in an hour! My mom went over there to meet them and they showed up when they said they would. Within an hour or so, the window was fixed!

I Yelped and found this place.
I came in at 11:00 a.m. and apparently they close at 12.
The guy was accommodating and took a look at my car right away.
In less than 5 mins, he explained and showed to me what happened and told me that I need to get my window replaced. Even though he said it'll take 30 mins to get it done, it was done in 15 mins.
I like the fact that he explained and demonstrated to me how the window thing works and what to do to maintain my windows.

My 9 year old car decided it didn't want to roll the driver side window back up (a day before storms decided to roll through the Bay Area) and I wasn't ready to start growing mushrooms under my seat, so I decided to make a trip to Maz. I gave a call to the nice folks there on a Saturday (always a good idea since you never know what needs to be done) and they told me to roll on by. The owner was nice enough to tell me ahead of time that if I was a previous customer, that they had moved down the street less than a mile, and in which direction. How thoughtful! After a softball mishap and upon recommendation of a coworker, I set out to Maz autoglass to replace my "home-runned" windshield.
The next day, I had a replacement for ~15% less than the price other shops had quoted (it wasn't an OEM part, but I've been happy with it so far..). The owner and staff were helpful and seemed to be well intentioned--I'll be back if any other sports-related misfortunes befall my vehicle (e.g., golfball to the tail-light or bowling ball through the sunroof).
