Swift response, quick service, high quality, and Bahman is very kind, honest and professional. I don't know the market rate for windows, but the prices felt more than fair for me! The babysitter accidentally broke a glass panel in our front door. I had no idea how to fix a pane of glass or whom to hire. After calling handyman after handyman, I decided to call AMA Glass and I am so glad I did. They were polite, professional, and accommodating-- they answered the phone (!), quoted me a fair price, and rearranged their schedule to fit me in first thing this morning.

This was the fastest service I have ever received from a contractor. My toddler accidentally broke one of our windows, not ideal in the winter! Our call was answered immediately, a quote was made on the phone and he was out to our house within 1 hr then brought the fixed window back within about 45 minutes. Reasonably priced, friendly, and being that fast especially on a holiday weekend was impressive.

Very disappointed... AMA told me they could repair / refurbish my glass door rollers, in addition their reviews indicated they could with great success. They asked for the brand, but I was unable to provide, given the doors are 20+ years old. They then reversed their course and said they didn't do this kind of work, which according to their website isn't the case. So, instead of taking a look and assessing the situation, they simply rejected the services request.

We've had the occasion to use AMA glass twice now in the past few years, after break-ins to the family business.
They've shown up almost immediately, replaced the glass door, cleaned up all of the break-in debris, and were done in several hours!
The price was very fair each time; they are extremely polite and efficient, and while I don;t look forward to hiring them again; the next time we need glass repair, I'll be calling them!

Took a couple days of back-and-forth phone messages, but Bahman & colleague showed up late in a long workday to address our sliding glass patio door, which had been shattered by a family dog literally jumping through it(!) Bahman quickly assessed that, in order to repair the sliding door, he would have to totally remove the fixed door, due to the interior floor tile height being too high to allow for interior removal of the shattered door. After removing both doors, they carried the broken door down to his truck and. within a very short time, returned, installed and insured that both doors

We needed to have a set of large dining room thermal windows replaced as the seal was broken and they bled. We contacted 3 companies and AMA glass gave us a prompt and reasonable quote. They came to our condo in SF from Oakland on a Saturday to measure the windows, and promised to replace the windows the next Saturday. Indeed, they came the following Saturday on time, and replaced the glass restoring our beautiful view. Bahman and his crew were friendly, professional, on time, and competent. We will use them again when the occasion arises.

When I went in search for a window repair business I got the run around. I asked for business to respond to my repair inquiry through Yelp and most don't do home window repairs or don't replace just one window. Bahman's response to my inquiry? "I will call you tomorrow" AND HE DID!! It sounds silly but I had been dealing with another window repair person who at first gave me a price quote but when it came to schedule the repair, he wouldn't return my calls or texts. I called 5 Glass Companies yesterday...None of them could help me until Mid Oct.:/ Then AMA called me back...They were at my place of business within an hour...they replaced a huge mirror that had been vandalized...I own one of the best and busiest bars in Oakland, how wonderful it was to make my bathroom mirror BEAUTIFUL again for my patrons! I had vandals smash a patio door, and I took the frame to AMA. I asked them to deliver the completed door, and they wanted to leave it outside. I asked them if they could bring it in the house, and they put it back in the door frame, which was nice, since that's considered "installing" which I hadn't paid for. I thanked them and paid for the door. Then I realized I couldn't open the door; it was metal to metal. The frame itself wasn't tight; you could see daylight! I broke the outer pane of my double-pane sliding glass door with my weed trimmer. They provided me with a prompt and accurate estimate using photos that I texted to them. They came out the same day to take measurements and confirm the estimate. They ordered the glass. Three days later the glass arrived, and they got it installed a day earlier than scheduled. I came home this afternoon to find my house had been burglarized - the burglars smashed a window in the back of the house to gain entry. I called AMA Glass and Bahman answered right away. He explained my options and came out in less than 2 hours. Bahman was very courteous and professional. He replaced the glass then and there. I needed a glass top for my tv console. They were able to give me a quote over the phone, but asked me to stop by to select color and edges. I highly recommend AMA Glass. My sliding glass door stopped opening or closing, totally stuck, and I had an event planned at my home in two weeks. The owner, Bahman Shababi, arrived at my home the same day I called. In less than two weeks a custom door was built and then installed by Bahman and his son Amir just in time for my event. The door is much more secure than the previous door and it looks and works great!
