The first decision you need to make is whether you want to go with a traditional garage door or carriage style. Carriage House Style garage doors look like they open out but operate like every overhead style garage door. There are nearly 50 styles of windows (glazing) that you can choose from and that we carry.
A garage door is the largest moving object in the home. They are often operated by automatic garage door openers. Proper installation, operation, maintenance, and testing are necessary to provide safe, trouble-free operation. An improperly adjusted garage door or automatic opener can exert deadly force when the door closes.
Before replacing your opener it is important to make sure the garage door hardware is doing its job correctly. If it is not, replacing the motor may not fix your problem. Belt Driven Openers- Belt drives are regarded as the "best" opener in the industry. They are virtually silent which is big advantage they have over the chain drive.
Often, your opener can be repaired. Fixing your existing motor may be a less expensive option than buying a new garage door opener. We often recommend repair over replacement for this reason. Federal Regulations (UL 325) were updated in 1993, which made garage door openers safer. If yours was manufactured prior to that date it is unlikely your house would even pass an inspection with it, so we recommend to replace in this situation.

Precision made my day! Highly recommend. Call them first--don't make our mistake! Our spring snapped on our garage door. The first company we called came and said it would take 2 weeks to get the right spring and they couldn't open our door in the meantime. After no reply from the first company (i called them 3 different times) I called Precision. They sent a repairman within the hour and 2 hours later they fixed the spring and a few other issues. We do have a very heavy custom door. I can't believe I was going to wait for 2 weeks. We will likely replace the garage door and will definitely call

Had a really smooth experience. One of our doors broke, and Precision was able to come out on the next business day to check it out. They came with a fully equipped truck so that they could fix it on site too. The employee that we worked with was very helpful and didn’t push us to make decisions, just gave us facts and pictures and his opinions. We did choose to replace both door opening systems, and their price was higher then other quotes we had gotten. In our case, we just wanted it done sooner and he was there so we paid the extra and got it done. If you have more time, you may want to shop

Precision installed a new garage door for me. I was very satisfied from start of the process to the installation! The customer service was very helpful and responsive in all my needs. Jeffery Johnson (installer) was very professional and courteous. He stepped up, and helped us out with a last minute change of plans. Great job! I love our new garage door.
