J and K is a heating and cooling company which opened its doors to service the Peninsula in 1989. Our goal was and still is to give our customers the best service available. Our company is an Elite American Standard dealer, and our employees are factory trained. We have been a customer care dealer since 2005.
We love AC repair work and installing heating and cooling equipment in the residential sector, but we also specialize in commercial AC repair and climate control. You have enough to worry about with your usual bills. You shouldn't have to worry about the headache of an inefficient or non functioning HVAC system.
HVAC Installation is our specialty! When we come into your home or business, we are not simply attempting to sell you on a service or a system that will be financially beneficial for us. I don't usually take time to leave long reviews but these guys were knowledgeable, professional, and great to chat with! We will be using them for our gas and HVAC needs from here on out!
We received quotes from other places that were more costly for lower quality work. When we spoke with J&K Heating it was immediately clear that the other places were trying to sell us on parts and materials that we didn't need and that J&K Heating was going to be able to give us the in-wall installation we needed.
And bonus?? I asked our service

The compressor on our old AC went out while we were on vacation, and after talking in circles with our home warranty company, we opted to just replace the unit with a heat pump instead. Ken came out to the house to give me an estimate. He was very patient with all of my questions and explained how everything would work since we are coming off of an oil-filled boiler system. He had a number ready for me in about 15 minutes and fit me into the schedule. The estimate was very reasonable and the turn around time was great.

I was impressed with the price and service about 6 years ago with a new system install. So I called them again last week for another new unit needed on my rental unit. No more than 1/4 mile from the office.
I called twice, once they answered and assured to me back in the morning. AND NOTHING. second time no answer.
It’s obvious they don’t want your or my business. Pick the next in the yellow pages. Ken doesn’t want your business anymore.

Called them as they were closing late on Friday after about 6 other company’s told me they were booked for weeks for a fairly emergent service call.
They came over first thing the next morning (on a Saturday) and fixed the problem fast. The tech was very helpful in teaching me a thing or two while he was here since I had just moved into the house and was learning how things were arranged.
Most importantly for me was the fact that the cost felt extremely fair. Especially being such a quick turn around and on a Saturday I was expecting to pay much more then I did but they didn’t price gouge

J & K responded promptly to our request to fix our heating system and gave us an estimate of the cost of the repairs, which was much cheaper than their competition. And they were very kind and honest, which we greatly appreciated during this difficult time. We would definitely recommend this business!

Yesterday it was about 90 degrees outside and 85 inside. Our a/c had suddenly stopped working. I called the usual company we use and was told they couldn’t come out for 6 days! So I called J&K and they were here within 2 hours! They were here for about 2 hours and when they left the problem was fixed and we were well on our way to a comfortable 73 degrees again! The lady who answered the phone when I first called was so nice! And all the men who showed up were nice, courteous and professional. They identified the issue and promptly fixed it. The bill was very reasonable too. We couldn’t have

Today Tim, Aaron and James installed the second heat pump in as many days.
Today when the temps in the attic were horrible at best.
These three were absolutely professional and courteous through it all.
If I could give this company 6 stars I would for a a variety of reasons. Thanks guys .. I’m sure you will all sleep well tonight !

I got a quote from James one of the lead techs. First off, he did a complete overview of my system and he did a fantastic job. This company will get my business from now on. Installation took park of the day for the furnace and AC unit. When you call for your install. Ask for James. Stand up professional lead tech. Great pricing!!

What a great Company. My AC wasn’t working and they fit me in and Aaron the Tech came to my rental property. Although nothing serious was wrong the service charge was so reasonable. Customer Service was Excellent all the way around. Will definitely will use again. Thanks Again!

Want to take a minute to give J&k a genuine review on their homepage . They have been a true pleasure to work with and very responsive to any questions or concerns I have had regarding HVAC installations in the recent past . There are not many companies that treat you like a friend rather than just a client and they have done both . Linda and Ken have been a blessing to have gotten to know and with the recent layoffs and work issues my family and I have encountered , they have been there for us and worked with us on payments and made this unfortunate time for us , a lot easier to work with
