Recently moved from CT to NC, and we were very impressed with and thankful for Braun Moving throughout the whole process. Elsa was very friendly and responsive. The movers were prompt and friendly, and efficient loading and unloading. They moved us out on a Friday and in on Tuesday (we were very happy only having to wait a few days). They were the most reasonably priced moving quote that we received by far, and even the final payment with additional items and boxes we added was very fair. So glad we chose them. I don't think it could have gone any more smoothly.

however delivering guys to SC were very good; excellent, actually.
about 5 items(family heirloom antiques) were damaged; when applied for insurance coverage, hard to reach Elsa's behavior was utmost reluctant.., insisting to refer repairs, and not insurance value. At the end, after several months, they only paid for repairs done locally, and never paid for, an antique lamp which I had to trash for being irreparably damaged.

With only a few days notice, we were able to book a local move of household items with Braun Moving. Move was quickly scheduled and moving team arrived as scheduled. Move team asked for directions on what needed to be moved and followed instructions. Move was completed efficiently and without any issues. Would use Braun Moving again.

Awful customer service, woman was arguing with me telling me the moving company that quoted me 1000$ less wouldn't show up and that I had to have a minimum of 3 people to move a FEW large items. She told me it would be 1600$ WHAT a rip off. I'm going with new haven movers, 600$ for same move. You should train your receptionist to be nice and not completely rude.

I will be reporting this company for all of my missing items that I had prepacked and once delivered to our destination we found valuable missing items in some of those boxes. Gaps were filled with their packing materials. Among the missing valuables other items include two external hard drives containing all of our personal information as well as the keys to the cabinet where all of the hard copies were filed. We packed these boxes and unpacked them ourselves once they were delivered to our door still inside the shipping container. This company was hired by Intermove who handled all of the details

I had two moves with Braun one year apart, so hopefully this info is useful because it covers two different experiences. In general, Braun is a professional moving company. This means you have an estimator come out to the house, look at your stuff, and give you a quote based on your actual volume of stuff. It means your move coordinator is prompt with emailing documents, asking and answering questions, as well as end of move billing. Horrible experience. I have used professional movers several times and have never had such a bad experience like Braun. They broke several expensive items including our 70 inch TV and our elliptical. On move out day I found the movers playing soccer in our living room. They had packed a bunch of garbage including mouse traps with food still on it. Office staff were rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable moving company, not this one.

I wish I could also give zero stars!!! I had same experience as Linda C as she posted on 10/4/2013! We used them to move from Connecticut to Georgia. Braun was very professional on pickup side, but a disaster on the delivery side as they work in association with Steven's Moving which is owned by Wheaton Worldwide. They claim piano experts but they didn't know how to reassemble and had to hire a professional piano mover to reassemble properly. We crated several valuable items, but they were still damaged, and despite buying extra insurance, they refused to cover. They also lost 3 items

Simply the worst mover ever, and I have moved many times. Moved two months ago. We were sent a too-small truck, the movers refused to get a second or larger truck, so many items, including furniture, was left behind. The movers who were supposed to put mattresses in covers we purchased refused to do so due to space constraints, and wrapped them OUTSIDE with a thin piece of cardboard underneath. YUCK!
Spouse had to hire a U-Haul truck the next day, return to our former house in another State, and pack up the remainder himself. The furniture had to remain behind,

This was the worst moving experience that I have ever had. I paid by credit card in advance (over $1700) to move 34 miles away. The movers arrived on time but were very rude. They packed up my boxes and furniture and then told me that they had no room left on the truck, while I still had closets, cabinets and an entire kitchen that was supposed to be packed BY THEM for $599 which was already paid. Braun moved us for our 20th and 21st moves - interstate, commercial and residential. Across the board, an excellent experience. No surprises on the bill - the quote was accurate to the penny. Front end staff estimated and coordinated to the degree that we literally did nothing. Movers were just amazing! They charge more than others, but figured that would translate into a seamless move, so I was willing to pay. They had me pay in full the day before the move. Said they'd be there between 8 and 9. At 9:45 they still hadn't shown up and hadn't even called to update me. A 5 star experience with Braun, from my initial conversations with Phil to the professional estimating visit from Tom, and the expert and always polite and encouraging coordination assistance of Robin. From their no surprise estimate, coordination and delivery - everything was incredibly smooth. We recently moved from CT to NC and everything went smoothly (except for the truck breaking down in our driveway!)
It was a great experience speaking with Robin - she was extremely helpful and professional. It was also nice that Paul was the driver who picked up and packed our belongings and he was also the one who delivered to NC! Nice to have a friendly face on both legs of our move!
All of the guys were very friendly and professional I can't think of a better company to call when planning a move. So very happy!

Braun Moving is the best movers I have ever used! They moved a three bedroom apartment (3 floors -- walk up) for me and never complained once. It was a hard move and they have the best attitude ever. They packed me out and moved me on the same day. Elsa was great with all of the pre-coordination. Ryan, Paul and Jeff were great on the day of the move. So far everything looks like it made it in great condition. I highly recommend Braun Moving!

We've moved several times and have had some pretty terrible experiences. Moving with Braun was a breath of fresh air! Elsa and Robin did an excellent job at coordinating our move, answering our questions, and keeping us informed of all the moving parts (we moved long-distance to Philadelphia). The movers themselves arrived on time, and were quick, courteous, and professional. I'd recommend Braun to anyone, anytime!

Braun moved our household items went great until we got the final bill. Supposedly they worked for 14 hours instead of 11. So starting at 8am and ending at 8pm is fourteen hours. I must be bad at math because that seems like 12 hours to me?
Oh but wait, there is an hour charge for travel and an extra charge for gas. Something that should have been in my quote to begin with.
So they took an hour off, that's nice but it's still an extra hour that I should not have to pay for. The 5 movers told us that we wouldn't be charged any extra from our quote. They were happy when they got $100

Braun Moving went above and beyond to ensure my moving experience was the best one yet! I have moved many times and this move was head and shoulders above the rest. From the first time I spoke with Elsa I felt comfortable knowing she was going to be there for me throughout my move. As promised, she answered any question I had and even gave me some helpful tips for packing. My moving crew was scheduled to arrive at 8:00AM and were parked outside of my house with the truck ready to go at 7:55. The moving crew was friendly, polite and worked efficiently as a team. From my first phone call to Elsa at Braun moving to the last piece of furniture placed, my experience with Braun was fantastic! Our dates for moving kept changing due to our buyers, and Elsa was so flexible and agreeable to our situation. Diego and his team arrived when scheduled. They were incredibly professional and kind. We had to extend the move in due to the buyers, and Braun was wonderful.

Had a three bedroom+ house of furniture to move from Brookfield to Farmington. From the beginning they were helpful and explained everything . Tom came out for my estimate and he was thorough and friendly and the estimate was spot on. Also the best price I got. Elsa in the office took over from there and she was always pleasant and answered every question. She even called during the day of the move to see if it was going well and what she could do.

I recently used Braun Moving when moving from NY to NJ and from the very begining when speaking to Allison( the moving coordinator) I could tell I was using a very reputable company. The day of the move the movers called to let me know when they were one their way and arrived even a few minutes early so timing was perfect.
