Lasorella Glass Studio
The LaSorella family has operated a stained glass home workshop since 1978. The shop is commercially outfitted to accommodate the production of the largest of windows yet small enough to efficiently focus on each commission. We specialize in the design, production and installation of new windows as well as the repair and restoration of antique windows and lamps.

Our studio is experienced in repairing windows and lamps. We are the shop that other shops refer for difficult repairs. Replacing broken glass, resoldering, came junctions, removing old grout and re-puttying, adding framing and reinforcement - we've done it all for over 40 years. Email us photos of your damaged windows or lamps and we will give you a solid estimate.

Our staff can remove your architectural windows, repair them, and reinstall and weatherproof when necessary. Call us before you dispose or put your damaged windows in storage. No assignment is too big or too small. We have avoided the added expense of maintaining a retail store and, as a result, are 20% to 30% less expensive than other shops.

Joe custom made 4 panels for my front door 20 years ago. They still look as beautiful as the day they were installed.

We had an exceptional experience with Joe and his team. We were looking for a custom made stain glass insert for our front door. Joe helped us through this and his team came out for the measurements and install. They are all artisans. The design, construction and installation all took time and they nailed it. It's difficult to find artisans - Joe and his team fit the bill.

Brought in a lamp shade I needed resoldered and I was willing to pay $220.00 to fix it. I paid the amount they wanted and left it there to be fixed. Later that day I received a call from them saying it was going to cost me an additional $200.00 to fix it. I said to wait because I didn't want to pay that much to repair a lamp that only cost me $50.00 brand new. I told him to wait, only to get a call the next day informing me that my lamp shade had been fixed and it was going to cost me an additional $182.00. If I didn't pick it up I would be out the $220.00 I already paid and my lamp shade! You

My husband had a stained glass lion's head that his sister made for him 40 years ago. We wanted to have it outside, but it wasn't quite sturdy enough and it had a few broken pieces. We took it to Joe, he repaired it and reinforced it so it sturdy enough to be outside now. We are very happy with the result, and we look forward to doing business with him in the future.

We have worked with LaSorella on two projects now and will have a third coming up. I have been so happy with their work. We are a general contracting remodeler with a custom cabinet shop. Most of our projects are very niche and we have clients that want unique pieces such as cabinet doors with leaded glass.
Joe has been amazing to work with including responding quickly to the order that we messed up on our end and needed more leaded glass doors made. The workmanship is great and the service has been impeccable.
I look forward to a long lasting relationship and highly recommend this studio!

I wanted leaded glass cabinet doors & so glad I chose LaSorella. They are very reasonably priced and my leaded cabinet doors are beautiful. The turnout was also very fast & they kept me updated on the progress of the project. I highly recommend them.

I’ve yet to use their services due to their poor reputation. Quotes and estimates start very cheap and is very alluring. But by the time his done it could double or triple the estimated price. Usually because they broke something and don’t want to foot the bill. From I gathered joe wasn’t even involved in making stain glass. Just untrained artist who haven’t trained their whole lives. If he was even in business 75 years. When I looked him up there was nothing more than 3 years back.
My suggestion, call the better business and have lasorella glass prove me wrong if possible. But the only

Erin did an amazing job creating a custom design for us! She totally got our vision and created a beautiful pattern. Our completed window was even more beautiful than we had envisioned. We couldn't be happier! If you're thinking of having a window made, please keep in mind that this is a custom piece of art and the price will reflect the amount of work that goes into this process. Our window wasn't cheap, but we have a beautiful piece of art that will last forever.

Just got home with our finished piece and it is exactly what we asked for. I would give five stars but for the general quote from Joe over the phone of 2 hours @ $85 was in person a 5 hour project @ $85. We knew before leaving our piece behind that it was in good hands and we are grateful for those 5 hours, what a difference they made!

We've had an antique leaded glass window from a 1920's home for over 45 years. We have displayed it hanging in the front picture window of our 1910 Old Portland-style foursquare home. Unfortunately, two of the panes became cracked and broken recently. We found LaSorella Glass Studios, talked with Joe about its repair, and brought it in. After only two weeks in the shop, we now have our beautiful window back in better shape than ever! Joe's team sanded and repainted the frame to finish it off beautifully. Stained and leaded glass repair, especially this project with multiple

Simply - this is fair warning - DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
We unfortunately had a terrible experience with Joe. We found Joe's services for old leaded window repair services via many good reviews on Yelp. Joe gave us a quote that we were comfortable with, so his assistant came out to the property to remove the windows and take them back to the shop for repair. We are a design firm representing our client in a remodel of an empty house, so when Joe's assistant told us that he wouldn't need us to hang out there the whole time while he removed the windows and them boarded up the openings, we

We were doing a down to the studs kitchen remodel of a 1932 tudor style house. The defining feature of the space is a nook with 5 lead-paned casement windows. The windows were originals and were toast. We decided to restore the windows to retain the original character, a smart move as it turned out eventually.
After several months going through two lead window restorers we were really disappointed and disheartened. Their work simply couldnt meet our expectations.
Thankfully we finally found Joe and his team! They wound up doing the five nook windows and three more in the dining room. They are

They created the most beautiful leaded beveled glass insert for my door! It's like a jewel. I found them wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The quality of their craftsmanship is amazing. I also found their costs very reasonable.

If you are looking to upgrade your home or business with stained glass, this is where you want to go!
Joe and his team of artisians are amazing! We had a very large piece crafted by him- everyday I look at that and know it was worth the money. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the piece he made for our home.
The installation team was incredibly gracious and all- Art and Lyn in particular- so respectful of our house. They also were most precise in the crafting stage, making installation practically a breeze for this kind of large work.
So, take your ideas, good measurements, and research to Joe: you won&apos
