The original interaction with Moda was great. Moda movers was alright. I had to keep contacting them to set and confirm my scheduled pick up. They were scheduled from 8am to 10am. They didn't arrive till 1045am. I had to call them asking when they were going to show. The movers were nice. One guy took a couple smoke brakes. The truck wasn't able to get in to receiving area. I had to help the movers Cary 2 or 3 loads up myself. Some of the garbage was left in the in the hallway. They provided me an estimate of 300 something. The final bill was 540 for 2 guys and 4 hours of moving. With this being my first experience I would not recommend them

I had a local move in Salem and chose Moda because of their rates and willingness to disassemble my kid's huge bedframe! We didn't get started until rather late, but I'm not removing a star because that's just how life works and they were in contact with me about the delay. The movers were great: friendly, organized, worked very hard & very consistently and were very respectful of my stuff and the property. As good an experience as moving can be!

This group of 3 movers on 11/26/21 was well organized and excellent. They worked well together, chatted and made decisions before taking action; worked quickly and efficiently. Nothing was broken or harmed during the move. They asked questions before taking action, as necessary. They were on-time as well. Would definitely refer them or use them again.

Moda moving took care of my move in December and did a great job. It was approx $400 for 3 movers for my home to an apartment. They were quick and helpful.
Fast forward to my move in July, same amount of stuff, same number of stairs, also 3 movers yet my total was $850. They were slow, rude and ruined my son's bunk bed. The 3 movers spent more time commenting on my belongings and planning their after work party than actually moving me.
So disappointed and will never used them again.

We have used Moda Moving services i believe 3 times now to move our nonprofit from home to home and I cant say enough about them and their services. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, from the first time you call to schedule all the way to moving day. This last time around Chase, JT, Brandon, Mike, and Steve-O were great and so patient with our HUGE warehouse and office move. I will definitely ask for these wonderful folks to help next time around. they were all careful with our items and communicative and kept the move fun! Called and set up our move three weeks in advance. We were told we were the first on the schedule for the day. Day of our move, we talked to the company at 8 am who said they would be at our house between 8-10. At 10 they said they would be more likely at 12. At 12 they said it was looking like 2. At 2:15 they called and said they weren't coming and could fit us in the following week. How is it legal for a business to operate like this?? Stay far far away from this company. Nothing like moving yourself on an emergency basis last minute.

We had a great and positive experience from beginning to end. We found the rate to be very good , they were very responsive to our needs. The young men , Chase and Hayden were very professional, kind, helpful and hard working. I would totally recommend this company to anyone. We also go a really nice perk out of it. We found out this is a Veteran run business. That really made my day!

I would not recommend this company as like many others, we experienced poor customer service, damaged property and were overcharged. Being a Veteran family, we like to support a Veteran owned business. We were initially told we would get a Veteran discount on the day of the move, this ended up being a lie. We were given their hourly rates and told is would take 3 hours to move our cabinets. They seemed professional and the rates were reasonable so we paid a $100 deposit and scheduled.

They messed up our office move so badly and didn't inform their crew of our inventory of assets, so when the moving crew showed up they didn't have the correct size truck or equipment to complete our move. This caused hours of delays, which they made us pay for, but it was all based on their mistakes at head office!
They charged our card without our approval and wasted our time with weeks of pointless emails, all the while refusing to be accountable and

*DO NOT USE MODA MOVING THE WORST MOVING COMPANY* We had used this company for a local move back in October. We went with Moda Moving versus others due to the "testimonial reviews" on their website. However, We were extremely disappointed with the outcome of this move and I want to address a few things. First, We were scheduled for 8-10am on Saturday and were told that it would be closer to 8am. I would strongly recommend not using Moda Moving for your next move. We were very displeased with the move start to finish. The movers were late to arrive, and upon arriving, immediately asked if they could use the restroom. The employee did not wash their hands before returning to the job and touching our furniture.

In one word: AWFUL. I really wish I had read the reviews on this place before I scheduled my move with these guys.
IIber and Vlad were my movers. IIber was great. Vlad was the freaking worst. He complained constantly - CONSTANTLY. About the stairs in my building, my furniture being heavy, political stuff, having to work on his wife's birthday, parking the moving truck. It was nonstop and so irritating. I hired people to take the stress out of moving, and instead it was both stressful and super expensive!

The movers showed up and said they could not take apart my $2,500 pottery barn loft bed so Moda said they would send a professional over to do it. They send over 2 young men (probably low 20's) that had no idea what they were doing and they ripped the screws right out of the furniture while trying to pull the bed away from the wall on one side. Right in front of me! They destroyed

I have moved multiple times and waited to late to schedule a move every time it's cost me about 350 dollars because I have very little stuff. I even try to make things quicker by taking apart a bed and even moving my mattress and box spring into the living room for quicker loading. I have never seen movers go so slow I finally had to leave and have a friend come because they were so slow they only picked up the pace when I had to leave and told them they were moving like snails. $530 dollars to move the stuff in the pictures plus a small mattress and frame I had already took apart ridiculous

We chose this company based off of veteran recommendations. My husband is a medically disabled navy vet and we wanted to stick to a vet friendly company. My husband chatted back and forth with Kevin for weeks coordinating the move for my mom, and he convinced us they would go above and beyond. We had a move scheduled WEEKS in advance for 8am On the 24th. After an hour of waiting we got a call to tell us one of the movers woke up with an abscess and couldn't make it. We had three men scheduled to move but the other two never showed.

The worst company for moving. I would not hire them if were the only moving company. The guy that finalizes the set up Chris hustled me out of using 4 movers and a longer time. It was just a two bedroom apartment and they charged me almost $1000 and not to say that they broke my TV and wanted to give me $11 for it. I offered the movers alcoholic beverages at 11 AM and 3 of them drank while do my move. They took their time at the apartment and when it got close to quitting time they all hustled and put things in the wrong place. Like I said if they were the only moving company I would still do it

If I could leave less then a half a star, I would. I'm beyond disgusted and appalled by the moving services that were provided to me from Moda Moving. My 1450sq townhouse was self packed expect for the hanging clothes in my closets and my minimal amount of furniture. I requested wardrobe boxes as the clothes would be easy to hang and move from my previous moving experience.

Moda Moving lost half of the belongings that I stored with them.
I have lost an extremely expensive sectional sofa and dresser. I've not recovered several items of profound sentimental value, and I am astonished that they have not responded to my repeated attempts to beg them to find these items.
Having contacted Moda dozens of times to rectify this issue, they have repeatedly promised to return my call. I have never received a return call and have never been offered compensation for this problem.
