When I bought the new air conditioner unit I was told that they would provide 2 years of warranty for repairs. I was within the 2 years and called the company and got no answer. I left a message and asked them to please call me and they never did. The unit has been repaired but not by them. I would never buy from them again.

BEWARE OF QUAMEC, THEY LIE!!! Quamec installed my Rheem AC 2 years ago. I called for service and after checking the problem, I was told it would take $450 to fix it. When I asked if the part was covered by the 10yr warranty, I was told by Quamec that it was not. I knew the capacitor would not cost that much to fix. I asked the tech to leave and called somebody else. Well, the part IS covered by warranty and it cost me less than 25% of what tbey wanted to charge. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE TO OVERCHARGE YOU!!! By the way, the technician was very professional and in no way this reflecs on him

My experience was bad, I asked for a 5 ton air and they installed the 4 ton indoor unit and the 5 ton outdoor motor, I asked to be fitted and they did not, I claimed that to the DBPR department, I won the appeal but I did not get it. they have changed the air

I bought a new RHEEM AC unit from Quamec a year and a half ago. The unit has been excellent. Recently, I needed a service call from them. Yardin in customer service immediately sent me out someone. Jose quickly and professionally fixed the issue. I have also referred a friend and a neighbor, and they were both very satisfied. I would recommend Quamec if you have any AC issues for sales or service.

I don't know if this is a new management or something, Last year the service was great, young staffs and most of all Faris the project manager took care of me very well.

I still have my 2 years free labor ,10 years warranty on coils and part and Lifetime warranty on compressor however they turn me now. We have a feeling that AC was not as cool as before even we changed the filter every 2 months( Mert12 normally required 3 month).

They charged $ 785 to replace a blower that didn't need to be replaced and I only spent $ 0.98 to repair it myself.
$ 135 for the visit (which is not deducted if you authorize the service) plus $ 650 to replace the blower ... I told the technician that the blower was fine and all needed was to replace a small plastic hose of approximately 5 inches.
Wow, it didn't work ... $ 785 was the price and obviously I didn't authorize it.
I paid them the $ 135 for the visit and went to ACE Hardware to buy the hose which cost $ 0.98.

Unbelievable. Those guys told me they could come on Friday. I reshuffled all of my appointments and spent my entire day waiting for them. I tried to call and text, no answer. I then tried to call/text them for a week. Still no answer. Very unprofessional. On top of that my neighbors who used them were not happy either

I bought a new American Standard package unit from Quamec about two years ago and was extremely happy with everything, the price, the quality and especially everybody I dealt with at the company from the salesman, the office employees and the service technicians. However I'm writing this review now because unfortunately my a/c stopped blowing cold air a couple nights ago. I called and spoke to Natalie and Myra who were both awesome and got a tech out the next day. Since October last year I hire your company to install an ac in my unit and after that I paid 1700 for getting a permit for that installation with the city. Right now I'm in the city again and you guys haven't make any application for my permit.
This is not the first time I contact you for the same issue. So I would like a complete refund of my money so I can get a permit with another company.
I really don't want to go further. I need to solve this situation, I'll assist a hearing next week.

This was a great experience working with this company. From the first phone call, customer service was great. One word sums it up... fair. The prices were fair, the techs were on time (big plus) and overall I'm very pleased with my new AC unit.

Our 15+ year old AC unit desperately needed to be changed. On Saturday morning, we woke up to a broken AC, and we knew it was time to call in a replacement. Our entire interaction with them was seamless. From the first phone call, all the way through installation, it was a hassle-free experience. Every single phone call that we made to their office was answered promptly and courteously - I can't say the same about other companies that I called that day. A lot of promises when I was first contacted but none fulfilled, technician arrived at wrong time, spoke only Spanish, took almost twice the time to replace old unit, had no idea how to install and spent over an hour getting instructions over phone, disappeared without giving me a receipt for payment or explaining new unit functioning, failed to do ducts inspection as promised, manager took over a week to send a receipt and service was not completed at all, and no response or follow up given by manager after complains of poor service. Do not do business with this company. I paid to have my A/C installed with permits. The A/C did not pass inspection so a tech from the company was dispatched to fix the problems. While he was there he made matters worst which resulted in my floors being damaged. Another tech was dispatched to fix that problem. I have been getting the run around since June 2016 regarding this issue.
