Joe Bates came out to diagnose a water heater problem. It turned out to be a severe problem. We opted for a new water heater. Joe was brisk to schedule the service and recommended some trusted brands of water heaters. His communication, professionalism and manners were top notch. Needed plumbing service to repair a reclaimed water pipe that was broken at the city's cutoff due to overgrown tree roots. I filled out a request form online and within minutes I heard back from Sasha, who was so very pleasant. Buck came out to fix our pipe right on time. He was so very professional, pleasant and explained in detail exactly what the repair required. He had to dig & cut roots, yet you can't even tell that a repair was made. We purchase a new York A/C 6 months ago from
Veterans Air. They called us to schedule a complementary 6 month maintenance check. William arrived on time on a Sat. He did a thorough check with state of the art equipment. He checked all inside vents, thermostat and cleaned inside and outside of the A/C unit. William showed us before and after pics.
We inquired about a Second Wind air purifier w UV lights. William is very knowledgeable and informative about our A/C and the Second Wind air purifier. We asked to have it installed asap and he did it same day. William is very profession, polite and

My original review was only 2 stars because I was not happy with the overall pricing and a lack of communication by the tech. However, once the company became aware of my dissatisfaction they contacted me and worked with me to make me comfortable with being able to recommend them to others for A/C service.

Called veteran air to diagnose problem with our ac. I was in Illinois and couldn't do it myself because I am hvac tech in the past. They tried to talk my wife into a new unit and then stated we needed a new blower motor for $828 and would take a week to get part. I decided that I could not leave my family with no ac for a week in Florida summer heat and I took an emergency flight next day back. I was able to obtain a blower motor next day air for $350 before I flew back, based on tech diagnosis. When I got back, the blower motor was fine as was our unit. They low-balled me on a competitive bid to "replace my existing" 2 ton A/C system. I didn't realize they were low-balling me so their low price won the bid. On the day of installation I watched them unload the equipment and said to the tech doing the install that this A/C compressor seem a lot smaller than my existing system's compressor. The tech explained that was because this new system was not a heat pump system like my existing one. I told the installer to hold off and called the company.

I stupidly compared area prices for my AC problem after I had already contracted Veteran AC to come over. They were so much more than 2 of my comparison companies. My fault for acting before doing the proper research.... think it was their name, Veteran, that influenced me to call them first. Next time I'll be a lot smarter before I decide on who to trust!

I would definitely recommend this company. Great customer service, showed up about 20 min out of the hour "window" but called to tell me this (the first company I called "air experts" gave me a 2 hour window and I had to call twice four hours following and still was a no show)
I turned to yelp for help and found Veteran with stellar reviews.... ok
The technician Vincent was the most kind, professional, and thorough help I have

I would have given 5 stars but not so happy with first technician coming to fix nieces a/c unit. He tried his best but left knowing a huge leak still present. Next day (Saturday) Rob Nemeth came for emergency fix. He was in and out in 15 minutes. He was spot on, VERY professional and A/C seems to be working as it should. Thank goodness !
