All this company did was waste my time. Needed a firebox inspection and repair estimate, so I began getting bids in the summer, as I know these companies get busy as winter approaches. Someone came out immediately to check things out and said I'd get an estimate e-mailed. I finally got the estimate for a rebuild, but had to call after waiting a month for it. Told Brian I'd have him do the job and needed it done by late October. He said he'd give me a target job date. In September, I e-mailed him again about doing the work and he never bothered to reply. We haven't used the fireplace since we moved in so we needed it checked out. He performed the inspection and educated me on some features of this fireplace that I haven't had before. All in all quick, professional, and honest.

Had Cincinnati Chimney out for a second opinion after another company quoted over $6,000 to repair our flue with practically no inspection. Cincinnati Chimney came out, did a camera inspection, and found one item that needed attention at a cost of $450. Issue fixed today a little over a week after initial call. Now I can use my fireplace for the holidays and saved $5,500.

Cincinnati Chimney & Masonry was the only company I contacted, out of about 8, that could give me a quote the same week. I needed some repair and resealing, and Brian came out for a quote far below some competitors.

Shout out to Cincinnati Chimney and Masonry! The owner and two of his guys spent Christmas Eve installing my new wood insert...not only that, but they inspected the vent to our boiler and noticed it was in bad shape, it was full of holes and could have collapsed at any given time causing the boiler not to vent to the outside. They showed us the condition of that and immediately went to the supply store to take care that issue.
