We're having our new home built and were referred to Macadam. Kylie is the best and very knowledgeable. She is very well prepared and helped us choose color schemes that go well with our new home as well as carpet, countertops, cabinets, and flooring. I personally loved that she does not push you into getting upgrades.

After having trouble finding the right tile for our fireplace base, I visited Macadam's showroom in Portland and spoke with Scott. Macadam has a very large selection of tile and I was able to find tile that worked out great! Unfortunately, during the process there was a serious and significant hiccup driven by the tile supplier. Scott and Christina both worked very hard to get to a resolution under pressure and delivered well with Scott going way above and beyond both in his personal actions and communications during a very sensitive time at the end!

I worked with Olivia at Macadam for my new construction home. She was so great to work with - incredibly knowledgeable and very prepared for our meeting. She provided great opinions and helped me make decisions without feeling like I was being pushed to upgrade or spend more money. Macadam's sales, Rick, is very knowledgeable about choosing the right carpet for the right house. He reviewed our house pictures, discussed with us about our expectations, and recommended a beautiful carpet fitting our new house very well. 5++++ stars. Rick at Macadam floors saved the day (or year!) after 4 backorders and 3 months of waiting for carpet at another company, we decided to cancel our order and take our business to Macadam. Rick was decisive, informative and BEYOND helpful. He helped me select product and order within a day, while simultaneously working behind the scenes to get it installed quickly. The team had great communication and the best pricing in town. The carpet installers were professional and did an amazing job. We are SO happy and will be back for future projects.

Nice showroom with all LED lighting and not too bright. You want some normal lighting when picking out these items. One odd thing was everyone we called there had no greetings on their voicemail.
The main thing is they had decent prices and good selection and came through in a pinch. We had a tight schedule to get new carpet installed before move in. They measured it out based on just a floor plan as we had no access to the house and had enough but not too much. They did the job in the scheduled time. Also at the last minute we added another room and they found some carpet locally and squeezed

The house my dad built burned in 2013.
The man in charge of any issues that went on… let me tell you how unprofessional that man was.
Shut my music off during my house build. My house that was being built (a house that my dad built. He died when I was one. I stayed present during this build because this land is a Century farm) Told me to just fill in these gaps with putty!
Well the first photo is ridge spot in my bedroom that is raised above surface level. If the installation was right they wouldn’t have let perfect flooring left over when there were

My wife and I fell in love with a specific flooring used while searching for our forever home. When we found our new home, we made sure to upgrade the planned flooring to those floors. It was the one and only design change we made to the house plans and we were incredibly excited about it.
After construction was completed, we immediately noticed numerous issues related to the installation of the floors. There were lots of floor pops, squeaking/creaking in certain places and lots of glue marks that were incredibly hard to remove all over the place. These floor noises continued to grow over time

My husband and I purchased our first home and decided it was a priority to get the carpets replaced before moving in. After reading great reviews of Macadam I decided to go with them and I'm so glad we did! From start to finish we had a wonderful experience.
Darren was super helpful, transparent and got things done for us. He truly went out of his way to make sure we got everything we needed and in time to get the carpets in fast before moving in.

Macadam completely replaced the wood from this 1927 staircase, and also installed the new carpet. From the first step consulting with Jake to the last carpet tack, the entire project was handled with excellent professionalism. The stairs and carpet subcontractors did timely, excellent work. The whole experience was flawless.

The customer service and follow up is amazing. They were so nice and on top of the job every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone that's nervous about doing any sort of remodeling in their home. They have an entire team to help you every step of the way, including designers that can either take charge or guide you with your ideas. This is the fourth project I've done with them and I always come back because they provide competitive pricing along with the best service during a very frustrating process of remodeling.

I spoke to TRACY before I placed my order to replace a few existing pieces of laminate flooring. I emailed her to confirm the color of the flooring would match what we already had. She checked our file and said it was correct. When I received the invoice it said that Macadam was not responsible for any flooring that came in and didn't match existing color. I then reached out to her again regarding that disclaimer where she assured me that rarely happens and that they just include that in the invoice but that chances of that happening were VERY slim. Well

Rick was an expert salesperson and definitely narrowed the options to exactly what we needed. We are thrilled with both selections. The installers were meticulous and even identified an area in the subfloor that needed some attention due to evidence of some past water damage. It was the easiest upgrade we have done on our house to date.
