Natural stone tile is produced from natural materials that are quarried, slabbed, finished, and cut to size. Common types of stone used as flooring tile include granite, marble, limestone (including travertine), and slate. Among these types of natural stone are thousands of varieties with characteristics that depend on where and when the stone was quarried.
Cut Pile: This carpet gets its durability through the fiber used, the density of the tufts, and the twist of the yarn. There are four popular styles to choose from: textured plush, Saxony, frieze, and cable. Textured: This style uses low density fibers of uneven heights. The resulting look hides dirt with an informal look, but it is not suited for high traffic areas.

These guys are awesome, really laid back and helpful when it comes to choosing a flooring and were super quick to help us a resolve a manufacturing issue with floor we got. I'll post pictures of the finished floor but its amazing. we drove all over Portland looking at flooring options and Metro was hands down the best place to work with

Highly Recommend! First of all the Customer Service is second to none. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and quickly takes away any stress or confusion when it comes to any flooring/tile needs or ideas. The second thing is that they genuinely care about your budget and will find the best items for your style, quality and budget instead of automatically trying to push you towards the highest mark up items.

My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Richard. He was extremely easy to work with and always kept a look out for specific details I was looking for. Not to mention there’s literally hundreds of options of various floors and tile. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking to do any house projects. I am so impressed with metro floors customer service. Absolutely blown away. I came in with no appointment, unannounced and had such a phenomenal experience. My husband and I are building out first home we came in overwhelmed and a little confused, we had ideas but didn’t have it all figured out. Richard helped us envision every room in our future home. We have worked with other companies but none of them compare to this. We loved that we are getting our moneys worth with all the material we chose. I recommend that if you have no yet check them out do yourself a favor and do so!

Richard and his team are incredibly helpful. Not pushy at all, but will go out of their way to make sure you like what you're getting. My wife and I felt completely comfortable the entire time we where there, and we are pretty picky. Richard showed us around without trying to up-sell us, and made sure we didn't decide on something until we where absolutely sure. I will definitely be coming here again and again when I need more tile or flooring!

I highly recommend metro floors. I purchased all my flooring, tile, carpet from them. Everything came in extremely high quality. The colors turned out amazing, and their team did a great job helping choose out material and explaining the differences in product. I will definitely be recommending them to other home owners/contractors.
