Services
Live Oak Construction specializes in commercial interiors with a focus on metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, building insulation, and door and frame installation. Additionally, we do selective architectural demolition. Our work scope includes core construction for new ground up projects, tenant build-outs, hospital, government, and retail projects.
Live Oak Construction opened in 1989 by previous owner and founder Joe Gilligan. Under his direction and guided by his ethical business practices, the company became a success in the central Texas area. Joe hired Scott Nunnelly as an estimator and project manager in 2009. For several years Joe showed Scott the "Live Oak way" and in mid-2011 he sold the business to Scott.
What separates us from the competition? The answer is simple - our team of committed and passionate individuals. Our management team is unique in that we all have different skill sets within our industry, but have come together to provide an in-depth understanding not only our scope, but also how our scope fits into the overall construction process.
At Live Oak we believe in the Team approach at all levels - internally and with our clients. We believe that, as a management team, it is imperative that we are all in constant communication and working in unison from the bidding process and procurement, to project management, through operations, to the very last item on the punchlist.
Whether the project is an involved thirty-six story apartment high-rise, or a simple single story finish-out, our diverse market expertise is showcased in every project our team produces. Our ability to perform well in diverse markets is proven by the fact that 90% of our work is with repeat clients across all of the Austin market sectors.

I needed to have some drywall work done and this company was recommended me. Their website is really nice, but after looking at the previous reviews I was concerned. Allowing someone into your business or home involves a lot of trust. And company that hires someone like J.Parker (Coppertop22) is not trustworthy. If he's going to lie about something as ridiculous as being a mercenary to bail out another friend who lied (Jason Blaha) How do I know that he won't steal everything I own. Or if he creates any damages, that he will he admit it. Too many red red flags for me.
