Mike Cogdill made the building of a great house very easy. The house reflects my personality and is very relaxing to live in. He actually finished on time with no major problems. I would recommend him highly. Love the big ceiling in the great room great for entertaining and relaxing. I couldn't be happier!

I have had four houses built and Mike Cogdill was my fourth and last contractor. He is also the only one of the four contractors I would use again. He is a 4th generation builder; he was born into the trade and his father was a contractor.
It’s extremely important to choose the right builder. You don’t want one who has only built a few houses or one who just relocated to our state because it would be easy to pick up and move after they complete your house and if anything goes wrong with the house they won’t be around to fix it. I have had this happen and spent thousands of dollars fixing

Cogdill Builders was my choice to build a new house based on an existing house he had built for a friend. Mike designed and built the house exactly as I wanted, using space-saving designs to make the house very large-feeling while being very space-efficient. It truly was a custom home to meet every single want and need I had.
For instance, he managed to get extra-tall garage doors to allow me to store a tractor. Now I won’t require a separate building to store it or my other lawn equipment.
He was also able to design and build a custom shower and bathtub based off of a picture I had shown him

Editing my review since the receptionist responded: I called and made it clear that I'm still in the planning and budgeting phase of the project and I have no background knowledge on the process works or what I could expect cost-wise. As a receptionist, your job is to make the customer feel welcomed. I got the impression that my questions were bothering you and that you weren't interested in giving me a simple interview of the process or book a consultation to learn more about my needs. I went to Mike with no house plans - just an idea that I had sketched on paper. As I write this now, I am living in my dream house! From the beginning, Mike used his experience and skill to not only design my house, but to also build it. Every time we hit a problem or snag, Mike would figure it out. And I found him to be extremely honest and that he cared about my concerns and my house. All of his subcontractors did fantastic jobs. Every one that saw my house during the construction process was impressed by the quality. I now have a well designed and extremely well-built house.

I gave 5 stars I am sure that someone is delighted with their work they are rebuilding a new home in my neighborhood so I am going walk each day and oversee the process I so wish that I wealthy enough to demolish my house because I love my neighborhood I could never afford the payments on social security that is less than a thousand dollars a month and I couldn't find a place to stay while the rebuilding because I care for 22 cats that didn't ask to born miracles don't happen to people on social security.

My wife and I had just bought property in Riverview. We talked to a couple different builders and thought we found the one we liked. After about 3 meetings, that particular builder actually refused to work with us after discovering we had consulted other builders regarding specific lanai doors and other features. After finding a beautiful piece of property on a lake in Odessa, we wanted to build a great house as well, one in which we could comfortably retire. When we met Mike we knew we wanted to build a stable and home combination building on a small horse farm but had no idea where to start. We had purchased land a decade before and were finally ready to build.
