These folks have always provided prompt, friendly, economic, and reliable service to my household. When AC goes bad, I often fear a $2000 bill coming my way... this has not been the case as Pilot Mech has been wonderful to work with and my charges thus far have been less than $150 per visit. I have had two issues in three years that were both rather minimal.. This is greatly appreciated and I thank them and hope the excellent service continues.

LOOK NO FURTHER if you are in Pilot Mechanical's service area. Call them first and confirm because their customer service is second to none. I had a minisplit ductless system installed and several services since (including major repairs and WIFI thermostat upgrades) and their prices are fabulous but better yet their customer service simply rocks.
A year later my 2nd floor heat pump developed a terminal failure - we had been fighting reliability for 3 years. I was so glad to see that Pilot Mechanical offers state of the art minisplit systems with air handlers!

When my AC went dead, I was afraid that I was going to have to replace or spend a great deal of money to repair the unit. Gary at dispatch worked it out so a repair technician would be there the same day I called. In the current Covid19 climate, I was expecting to have to wait at least 2 days.
Keith, a repair tech, came to look at the unit. He was very thorough and knowledgeable about my unit. He determined 2 things were causing the problem, and they were very minor issues. He was able to fix the unit, get the AC running again, explained a lot about how these units work to me as he was working

We has Pilot come out to clean our coils so that our airflow would be better throughout our house. They came out on a Monday and did so, but in the process blew our regulator. The technician said he would come back and fix it later in the week for free since he messed up. Since then he has had our fan running non-stop which has made our house uncomfortably freezing. To counter that, the heat has to be turned on so that the house gets uncomfortably hot (especially on a 90 degree day) and once it gets there, we turn the cold air back on just to do it all again. Pilot Mechanical has now installed two systems in two locations. Each time, Jon and his team have spent more time finding a specific solution than just making a sale. In my most recent experience, a 13-year old system "gave up the ghost." The airflow and temperature distribution in the house was not balanced. The PM team spent more time than any of the five other companies analyzing and suggesting a combination of elements that solved my issue, resulting in greatly increased comfort and balance. Installation was completed quickly and expertly, leaving no trace that any work had been done

I really enjoyed working with Pilot Mechanical when I replaced my furnace ad water heater. Chris was very friendly and patient . He carefully listened to everyone of my questions and made me feel comfortable. The team was very polite, efficient and helpful. They even cleaned up after they were done. I got a fair price and great service. Highly recommended.
