We had a great experience with Cook’s recently. We had what turned out to be a small inexpensive fix to our AC issue. They sent someone out the next day. He was very professional and wore all the protective gear (mask, gloves)to help avoid contact during the Covid outbreak. We will definitely use them again if we have another problem.

Great choice for our HVAC needs!!! If anyone has any HVAC needs or is unhappy with their current relationship I can highly recommend Cook's Heating and Cooling out of Rural Hall. It's a well accredited family owned and operated business that provides that personal touch. They were prompt, thorough and easy to get a hold of. They were willing to negotiate and got me the best price that I could find among several quotes, installing my new heat pump quicker than any of the others.

After 2 months of owning my house, my AC went out. I had no clue what to do. I had a family friend come over and charge me $100 to just look at my inside unit and try to charge me a ton to fix it even tried to update my outside. So upset with this news a co worker insisted on Cooks and called Josh herself. Josh came out that night, knew what to do and said he would have it fixed within the next day or two. On top of coming out in the same day he was called, after looking at the unit he left and he brought a window unit to cool my room so “hopefully you can get some sleep” he said. My

Had Tim come out on a Monday for a quote & he told my husband we'd have it by end of day the following day. Fast forward to Thursday & the 3rd call from Tim wanting to come back to look at the breaker box. At this point (3 reschedules for a 2nd visit) we were done. The other two companies provided quotes, one the same evening & the other the next morning. Extremely unprofessional.

Called different HVAC contractors and made appointment to have my fan fixed on my air handler. None of them showed up, they even had good reviews online. So I looked up some more and came across Cook's in Rural Hall and liked their site and decided to give them a try. I called and had a friendly conversation with their office and they came out the same day and fixed my problem for a good price! That's the kind of response and service that customers deserve but it's hard to find these days. So next time you need heat and air work give them a call and I'm sure they'll help
