We build custom crates to the exact dimensions of the pieces being moved. Packing materials are used to cushion your items before they are secured in their protective wooden crates to ensure safe transit. After setting up your carton, use crumpled up paper to create a cushion on the bottom of the box and top the box with crumpled paper before sealing. Plates, saucers and flat china: Wrap each plate individually and make bundles out of three or four plates, wrapping again. Place the bundles in the carton so the plates are standing on edge.

Great experience. Movers were friendly, professional and efficient. They were also available with short notice, which we greatly appreciated when we had to quickly and unexpectedly move my senior citizen Mom to a new apartment. They were done in under the time that was estimated and asked several times before they left if there was anything else they could help with. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Great move from MA to FL with Hiltz. They took great care in packaging several delicate pieces we had to move. The guys from Hiltz that came to our home were hard workers and so organized. Tracey, in the office, explained everything to us, was helpful with getting us the right boxes and paper to pack our items, and keeping in contact with us throughout the process. Tracy is the best. I needed to move fairly last minute on a Friday and couldn't ask friends to help since they were working. I was a bit nervous hiring movers as I had heard horror stories about moving companies quoting a price and then charging quite a bit more, making the person sign an approval once your belongings were on the moving truck.
Hiltz quoted a fair price, were extremely professional and cheerful, did a fantastic job and actually ended up charging me a couple hundred $$ less than their estimate. They even went out of their way to save a tree (and save my reputation with my new neighbors!!
