We hired Island time for weekly pool service but they literally stopped coming to our house after the first or second service. This turned our pool green. When we called and asked them to come out and fix the algae situation in our pool, they said they would but never came. We cancelled our service but they continued to charge us. Now we're in dispute with the bank over the automatic charges. Aaaaamd our pool is still green despite spending tons of time and money trying to fix it. We'll have to empty our pool to get it right. Island Time also charges hundreds of dollars for chemicals

These guys are servicing my pool prior to me moving into the house. They offered a two week free service. And completely messed up the chlorine levels in my pool so badly and are not taking responsibility for it. Multiple phone calls with no call back!
Free chlorine over 24 and stabilizer level of 165!!!

I saw someone who was in one of these trucks cut some people off in Dutch brothers, start cussing out the worker, flipped off people in line behind him as he screamed "I'm the owner of this company good luck" when someone said they were going to complain. I'm not sure if it was the actual owner or just an angry employee trying to have status but either way this is not a company I would recommend to others based off how they treat people.

We have a California Pool, which is 4 years old. Pump stopped working and we called California Pools and they said it's out of warranty and offered little help other than telling us to call Hayward. Hayward gave me a long list of preferred companies to take a look at our pool. I looked up each company and finally decided on Island Time. So glad I did. They came out and diagnosed my pool problem as a complimentary service. Then they told us about a special warranty program that saved us a bunch of money. California Pools didn't alert us to any of this until we had to contact them

I don't like owning a pool. In fact, I offer anyone who will listen the opportunity to dig it up and take it home for free. No takers yet. For 10 years, we used the typical "guy with a pickup truck" pool service. I assumed having it look clean for 3 days and kind of ok for 4 days was normal - after all, the vacuum can't reach all parts of the pool, right? I have been using Island Time Pool Service for the last five years or more. Their service is awesome, I love my pool guy! They do just about any service with pools that you can imagine from repairs to replacing pumps and filters. I have had them do all kinds of different projects for me over the years and things always turn out well. I have referred Island time to many of my own clients and they have told me how happy they are, too. This is a company that cares about its clients at its employees. I highly recommend them.

I would not recommend this pool service. I had them service my pool for 3 months in 2015. I had a few complaints but it was ok. My pool was clear when I returned from vacation which was good, but I had to contest the charges for pool chemicals. Though they agreed up front to use chlorine that I had purchased they did not and charged me for chlorine at a much higher price than I pay at the pool store. We eventually settled on a happy medium but it was a hassle. I again arranged for them to service my pool this summer and within a week of leaving I was sent notice of a repair work charge for

I have used Island Time weekly pool service for the last 10 years, they have never let me down! Recently the mechanics which holds together the pool filter broke and since my pool equipment is on a lower grade than the pool itself, the water was gushing out faster than I could fill it. I called them first thing in the morning and they had a tech out before noon, he fixed the problem and I was so grateful because it wouldn't be long before the pool turned green in the heat!

Island Time is an amazing company. They have top notch customer service and are reliable. When I was looking at hiring pool companies I found them through Yelp and the owner was actually the one who came out to do the initial assessment! He was knowledgeable, courteous and extremely professional. Since hiring them last year, I've referred three other families to them all who feel the exact same way. An added bonus is they have an online bill pay system for those who use them as a monthly service. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pool needs!

Long story short - I bought my home in May and it had a pool. I didn't have a clue how to maintain a pool. I just heard from folks at my job at how complicated it was, how you needed to be a chemist to figure it all out, etc.
