The start of his professional career was working with commercial and residential swimming pools in Metro Detroit and Southern Ohio. Ultimately he found his way to Phoenix Arizona and in 2015 McCallum's Pool Service & Repair was born.

McCallum's Pool Service & Repair is First Class in every way! We needed some work done on our pool last spring. A friend recommended McCallum's, so we gave them a call, and are so glad we did! Charles installed a new 2 speed Pentair pump motor. It works great, is nice & quiet & costs less to run. Also installed a new control unit in equipment area, so all the pop-ups on the pool floor now work properly. Lastly, our pool light wasn't working, so they put in a new fixture & pool light and voila! It's like having a new pool! So to keep it that way, we signed up for their weekly pool service - Laura

I have never had algae in my pool prior to these guys draining and cleaning it. I spent $1200 to have them clean a tile line and acid wash the pool. They never turned the pump back on. I was out of town and came home to a green pool. They said it was my fault and pointed fingers at everyone but themselves.

Called McCallum's Pool Service to help drain my pool. Found them through a google search and checked out the website. Spoke with the owner John a couple of times as well as Keith a couple of times. These guys could not be more friendly, responsive and helpful. I originally just needed pool drained, filled and chlorinated. Had to call back and add services. Pool need to be acid washed and tile cleaned (that white line was horrible). The team was able to completely revive my pool and answer all my questions on how to keep the pool going strong. Fantastic work - pool looks brand new! Could not be

Listen people… Look no further for a pool service if you are in the Phoenix area than this one! John was amazing to work with. My sister and I are in two different locations in the country and we were able to set up pool repair including draining, cleaning, refilling and balancing the pool with chemicals for my parents in the Phoenix area. John was super responsive and very quickly handled a big job that needed to be done. I have nothing but praise for this company. Call them today!

I really appreciate these guys being consistent every week and keeping my pool looking tip top. I've had a couple of other pool services at my other properties over the years these guys are not the norm....other companies have missed weeks, or just quit showing up. I could probably find someone slightly cheaper, but you get what you pay for...the great service is worth the money.

John took over our pool about a year ago. It was a mess with the previous service. John fixed the plumbing, swapped out equipment, replaced the heater and worked with a third party to put in automation. It all works now. John's guys are professional and courteous, and they know their stuff.
