A: The industry recommends pumping a septic tank every 3-5 years. The frequency at which you need to have your septic tank pumped can also depend on how many occupants are in the household. If you have a garbage disposal (which is not recommended) the tank needs to be pumped a year earlier than normal.

Horrid service from these guys. They came out to my house why I was gone and really took advantage of my wife. Not only did they look unprofessional they were very dirty and unprofessional. Other company's were booked up so I needed to get this done because my family and I are traveling. Oh forgot to mention they failed to dig up the backside of our tank and only pumped one side further more they left sludge on my drain way and walkway and its stained.. I've been a contractor for 30 years and I've never had more horrid service then bailys. Maybe that's why theres so few reviews. Do yourself a favor
