I'd like to give Ted's Moving at least six stars. My expectations were definitely exceeded. I've used movers several times and these guys are fantastic. NOTE: They move, they don't pack. Moving Details (recommended by Ted's Moving but not attached) is who I used and they were also great. But back to Ted's. They wrapped everything in plastic instead of the usual taped moving blanket approach. They put protective coverings on all the doors and around door trim and on the floor. They were very very careful to insure nothing hit any surface. But that's only half

A coworker recently asked for moving company recommendations, and I remembered how great of an experience I had with Ted's in 2017. That prompted me to make sure I had left a review, which looks like I didn't, so here I am.
The owner, Ted, is an Air Force veteran, and his discipline really shows in his moving company as well. Everything him and his crew moved for me made it in perfect condition with no dings to the walls or doors.
I also really liked that when we made it to my new place, we went through the condo and gave each room a name. So as the crew brought boxes and furniture

I hired Ted and his crew to unload a 22-foot rental truck in the Charlotte area. On move day, as I had requested, Ted texted me 30 minutes in advance that he was en route. Ted and his 2 helpers, Vlad and Jeremy, showed up on time and started work as soon as I parked and opened the door of the truck. Ted brought all the required equipment (dollies, carts and a handtruck + straps for the mattress

Ted and his staff were on time and took great care of all of our stuff! All three guys were pleasant to deal with and worked hard for us. I would definitely use them again. They came highly recommended from friend's who had used them a couple of months ago with great results. Ted was very communicative and I knew everything that was going to happen.

It was a pleasure working with Ted's Moving. Although communication was only via email for the sake of written documentation, the response time was very quick. The detailed instruction sheet for packing and getting ready for the move was very helpful. Ted and the whole team was very efficient, detail-oriented, friendly and punctual. We were hesitant to hire movers at first because of the cost, but I must say, Ted and his crew are worth EVERY PENNY. Not only are they affordable, but they do excellent work. They think of everything! We were amazed at how efficient they were while also ensuring all of our items were protected. The team is also SO nice!!! The best service that I ever have! Our family moved from out of state to Charlotte, NC. I just searched Yelp and found Ted's Moving has lots of good reviews. So I just wanted to try my luck. So glad that Ted's Moving did not disappoint us. Ted and his staff are very professional and efficient. They had the protective pads for my doors and stair handrail. They are not only good at moving stuff but also skilled at installation. Ted is very warm-hearted to buy parts to fix the problem while installing the refrigerator drinking duct. So so appreciated! Ted's Moving company was a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, friendly, easy to work with, and did an amazing job. We had three movers and used their moving trailer to move us out of our 2- bedroom apartment which admittedly had a challenging layout. They navigated the move quickly and efficiently and got us moved into our new home easily and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this group for moving, and fully intend to use them again if the situation arises in the future.

I heard about Ted from my father that has used him many times. Ted and his crew exceeded my exceptions. Preparation they did before and during the move was amazing. The crew was very professional and mindful. Despite there being lots of heavy rain my items were dry and completely undamaged because of there expert wrapping. I was astonished. Will never use any other movers. I highly recommend Teds. Thanks again guys! Was a pleasure.

I had Ted's Moving come out today (Aug 20, 2016) to assist with a move. I was amazed at how they cared for every piece of furniture and appliance we had. From wrapping the door frame with protective coverings to shrink wrapping everything to prevent damage, they were amazing. Execution was flawless and their help made the move so much easier.
Every member of the team was polite, respectful and cared for my belongings as if it were their own. Thanks guys for making the move so smooth.

Ted and his team just moved me a couple of weeks ago, long distance. I had a seamless move. Ted and his team were very professional and arrived right on schedule (they said they would be there between 8-9 a.m. and arrived at 8 AM). Ted does each of his move's personally!
I had quite a lot of stuff to be moved and they worked quickly and efficiently. Prior to the move, I had been emailing with him for a week or two prior to leading up to my move.
One thing I did find odd at first was the fact that Ted does not do any interaction via phone call. All communication is done via an email

Found myself in a serious pinch having lost my help AFTER my trailer was loaded. Called Ted's Moving and he and his team fit me in... short notice.
They showed up early, staged the house and were waiting for me upon my arrival with the goods!
Ted and his team unloaded, moved and positioned the items in my home in minutes.
Very reasonable pricing...
